Incredibly naive statement from you ILCN, this is a really good deal for Ottawa (ill add my opinion when I get on a computer)

OS is one of the teams I watch the least lol so I'm very unfamiliar with the 2 guys we got. I just figured they'd get some picks to help the rebuild.

Ottawa is giving up 20 games of two good players.
Ottawa is receiving 3 years of a potential top pairing defenceman as well as 1-2 years of a 2nd line winger. This is a great move for the future. Reminds me a lot of when the Niagara Ice Dogs traded veteran Pietrangelo for a young 16 year old named Ryan Strome. Middleton is a top pick!

I like the Ceci deal as well. Middleton is preferable over a 2013 1st rounder, which likely wouldn't have been a top 8 pick, and seems like a player who needs some ice time. The 67s actually have a decent number of 16 and 17 year old blueliners now, but none with Middleton's potential.
Swapping Janes for Blandisi is nice as well. While Janes might have played as an OA, Giftopoulos and Van Stralen are also eligible to return, and the third OA spot should be left open for a defenceman or a goalie (perhaps Windsor). Blandisi being a 94, he could be a useful top six winger.
I also like the Kuptsov pick-up in the Graovac trade. Hopefully he can find some chemistry with Monahan and play the role Richard Mraz was expected to play in the pre-season.

Indeed... Does anyone know a site that tracks all the trades going on in the OHL right now?

It is my understanding that in the OHL you cannot trade first round picks. Is this correct? (the actual picks, not players picks were used on)

That is correct. Import picks can be traded though.
