Rychel remains busy. Acquires Remy Giftopoulos from Ottawa 67's.

Petes trade rights to Schoenmakers home to the Rangers for Nick Czinder and picks. I wonder if Nick doesn't report now.

Okay, now that I'm back from class (tough to post much there):

- I like this Ottawa deal. Heard good things about Giftopoulos. Bigger body with a two-way game. I'll take it.

- Something is brewing with the team. I don't know details, but it's relating to the blue-line.

I was just about to post there defence is to weak if the want to keep the puck out they need to upgrade on Mcnoughton, Bateman....maybe Sefton or Koekkoek will be looked at.

Bateman HAS to be dealt, but Ebert and his very low hockey IQ needs to go as well. Three cards left, we have the ability to do it.

I like the first deal, but if Sudbury takes that second one, I think the management would be chased out of town

Petes now have 3 overagers. Quine is 19 and will command more than Clarke. Quine will go to a team like London or Belleville.

Isn't Koekkoek an uncoachable riverboat gambler on defence? Or am I reading too many Peterborough fans opinions on the kid?

Ok,ok I would throw in John Bowen to the Sudbiury as part of the deal, and they can trade me 96 born forward francis Viliardi in the summer,he does not want to be part
of the organization after signing, going to Russia and then sent down instead of the owners son
With Sefton dont need Bowen"s toughness this year or next as Sefton would be the perfect o/a

The 2 new guys (Aleardi and Giftopolous) are both top-4 in scoring on the Spits roster. For the price they were aquired for, I am happy. I don't know if this is true, but are the new guys pictures on the Spits roster page copy pasted on a pits jersey? They seem AWFULLY familiar to me. Oh, and on other OHL trades. Kitchener looks to be gong for it, making a monster deal with Sudbury. Franky Palazzese Cory Genovese Matt Schmalz OS's 6th Rnd '13 Wsr's 7th Rnd '14 Osh's 4th Rnd '16 Ply's 1st Rnd Imp '13 2nd Rnd '17 (cond.) 2nd Rnd '19 (cond.) all heading to Sudbury for Joel Viennean Frank Corrado Josh Leivo Sby's 1st Rnd Import '13 8th Rnd '13 3th Rnd '14 (cond.) 6th Rnd '15. And they get Shoemakers from the Petes for Czinder, picks going both ways.

Kevin Baillie on Waivers?

According to Knightsinsider London has put O/A Kevin Baillie on waivers.

#Knights place OA G Kevin Bailie on Waivers. #OHL

Only issue I have with that is you need Bowen for that tough-guy role. You can afford to lose him for five minutes. Sefton is going to be more of the Harry Young type, where, if he goes, fine, but I'd rather have him crashing and banging along the boards, and clearing the net.

KyGuy, the two guys on the Spits site are Aleardi and Giftopoulos, unless I'm missing something. My guess, given the timelines, is that they're photoshopped in. I recall the Whalers having shirt/ties in on their photos (right??), so that'd make sense. Giftopoulous probably isn't in town yet.

Bowen would not dress as 1 of your 6 d guys anyways, with our proposed additions the defence would be Koekkoek-Posa-Seiloff-Murphy-Seiloff-Sefton,with Mcnaughton and Brown as your spares
