He's definitely a "throw in" in any deal as he doesn't have much trade value.

Still need another couple D. They probably won't waste a card on Brown. So that leaves

Sieloff
Murphy
Ebert
Posa
Bateman
Sanvido
Bowen

Bowen may have to be used up front and that would leave you 6 and that's not good enough on D.

Dont disagree at least 1 prefer 2 especially with 3 cards to play
ideally for me get 2 d and 1 more forward,move 2 players

there would be no reason for the spits to release him unless someone is coming in

looks like the spits have put another deal together

The tweet in question is a re-tweet -

Quote:
One Tree Hill ‏@OTreeHill

"For now, I say goodbye to this chapter of my life... And I look forward to what comes next." #OTH
Retweeted by Jordan Mcnaughton

And his last tweet before that was quoting John Mellancamp lyrics...

Quote:
Jordan Mcnaughton ‏@JMcNaughton57

"Oh yeah life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone" #jackanddiane #greattune

The original quote was from @OTreeHill One Tree Hill ..it was retweeted by @Jordan mcnaughten on January 3rd. I saw it when it was tweeted but thought it was
just a retweet of words from the TV series One Tree Hill which it is... The quote has been retweeted by hundreds of One Tree Hill fans...

For now, I say goodbye to this chapter of my life... And I look forward to what comes next." #OTH

OHLInsiders @OHLinsders conveniently put only part of the quote in a tweet which makes it look like words out of the mouth of the Spitfire D-Man and they retweeted it today coincidentally after the tweet went out saying he had left practice with his bag and sticks..

RayzorIsDull...no need to confirm anything....it's been a busy enough day as it is. Tomorrow will bring even more of the same including the last dance around for the OHL over-agers.

If he is gone, I'd guess he's moving on from the OHL, maybe heading to college hockey or something. He'd be nothing except a throw in in any trade so I can't see him traded unless there is a bigger deal brewing where he could go to a sad sack team and get guaranteed playing time or something. Maybe we just told him Graeme Brown was going to jump him on the depth charts, and with Bilcke out for the season that Bowen is going to play a lot more over him as well.

I mean even if it's a retweet, it's still a message he wants to convey. The original tweet was from five days ago otherwise. Is there OHL protocol on how players can use twitter ie can't break/announce trades until first announced by league and or team?

Windsor #Spitfires defenceman Jordan McNaughton has cleared #OHL waivers and been reassigned to Junior B Strathroy #Rockets of the #GOJHL

As per Jim Parker.

You think so? I don't mean this in a challenging way Otto, but in all honesty, I don't think he's good enough for the OUA. He definitely wouldn't dress for Windsor, Western, Lakehead...ie the playoff contenders. CIS hockey is pretty high level since the use of the education packages.

Thoughts?

Edit: Just saw Libbs Jr. B post. Moot point I guess.
