Hypothetical of course, but if one of the other makes it clear they will not resign in Anaheim. What would there market value be? And how much would they be worth at the trade deadline?
Yep. It seems like this thread has popped up 1000 times and the answer is still the same.
I'm curious to see if a little more could be added in a trade like this if there was a sign and trade scenario. Say someone wants them for 8 years instead of 7, or we chip off a million on the cap hit for the first few seasons. I still don't think we'll see anything crazy, but it might loosen up a prospect that in the past might not have been available.
I can't imagine having Perry and Brown on the same line
Perry will be THE premier hot commodity around the league, Burke will most likely push for Getzlaf with everything he's got. I'd imagine, with a shortened season, Ducks don't trade either until after the season....where they MIGHT end up with a 1st.

If the Ducks would be willing to do that, I'd do Booth(off the bat) + Kassian + 1st + Schroeder/Connauton/Lack.
Top-6 forward + 1st + top prospect + b prospect(or an A goalie one)
We don't have any available centres though, so it's likely a team might be able to beat us with a better quality-for-quantity deal. Maybe Pavelski or Carter could be used as bases. A sign-and-trade would greatly improve his value, moreso than I think we could afford to out bid.

I agree two super star players up for UFA status? I have a doubt both will resign that's why I made this thread. If the season starts next week you know our organization will be talking to them at the same time regarding contract extensions. So yes this is a valid topic to discuss.
If I'm the Ducks, I'd ask for Brandon Sutter, Simon Despres, and Beau Bennett for Corey Perry. Pretty much the equivalent of three first round picks. If they are losing Perry, at the very least they should get one forward who can contribute immediately and two A/B+ prospects.
