I'm sorry I thought I read on your site that it was going to happen for sure. I deeply apologize for making your site looking bad.
Thatīs ok. Actually, you are not alone, who thought that the Eurolanche reports that deal as done. We reported the rumor as the first media, but not as the news... But then, hundreads of fans had started to chat about that and you know how it goes... Maybe one of them said that we were writing about Pariseīs deal as done and then it was ...
I really don't think that it is O'Reilly who is holding talks up, if his agent works for/with Meehan, I'd venture that to be why this is taking forever.
Sherman and co low balling him makes sense to me. Kroenke needs that money in the bank. Its always take it or leave it with this, now, Mickey Mouse organization. How can you say 'rebuild' when you cant even come to terms with one of the core players of that rebuild and not to mention you're leading scorer from last season and hardest working player. ROR should get paid and signed long term.
A lot of teams couldn't come to terms with their rfa's before the lockout. I think the situation is getting wayyy overblown. Whoever thinks O'reilly isn't coming back ain't thinking rationally.

I think some GMs thought the new CBA would give RFAs less leverage and that's why they were ok with waiting. In the end it didn't turn out that way. For RFAs, this CBA is pretty much the same same as the old one.
Hmmm, I haven't been here at all since lockout started.
The Avalanche need O'Reilly back, that's for sure. Even though this Sgarbossa guy looks like a future star.
>The biggest question mark for Avalanche in general is the owners and how much they are willing to spend. We have seen very, very negative signs the last seasons.
Avalanche salary budget is one of the smallest in the NHL, right?
An NHL player isn't leading the KHL in pts... just saying. Bendy
In fairness you are right a non-NHL player leads the league in scoring, but he has played more games than any of the other top 5 scorers of which 3 are NHL players and the other is Radulov. So basically the KHL is losing 3 of the top 5 scorers in the league, I guess I'd be kind of pissed to, but he had to know this was coming.
