Use the auction market to buy specific players from the same league or country. You'll get much better chemistry and bang for your buck that way. Card packs are literally a crap shoot.
I'm thinking about starting a new career. Any suggestions on what team I should be? I also have a financial takeover available which I may or may not use. I'd use it to bring in some young player I can build around. I've already done Neymar though, so I'd probably want to try someone else.
Well as I stated earlier, I opened some free packs (EA season ticket) and opened up 2 mega packs with MS points I got for x-mas since I never spend any so I thought why not here to help me get started. I sold most of the valuable cards and then went looking for cheap 4-4-3 English (1 exception) players from the EPL. Here is the team I'll be using for now
As you can see Anderson is the only non-english player I bought. I'm a United fan so I have a soft spot for him lol! And Lloris I got in one of the mega packs. I know I could probably sell him for a lot and help boost the rest of my team, but since I'm still in D5, I'll keep him for now!
Won my first game with that squad 3-2. Stupid defensive lapse at the end almost cost me, but Milner came up big in the 88th to regain the lead.

Not sure what the market for Walcott is, but he would definitely a worthwhile investment. I was lucky enough to get him in a gold pack. He is the fastest player in the game. He isn't the most skilled but 96 pace is hard to argue with.

Get David Luiz & Kaboul as two overwpowered cheap defenders. Also check out Fellaini for CM. Those 3 should cost you under 10K

I'll look into those 3 guys too. I only have 4,869 coins right now though, so I'll go win some games first haha!

Jeez I'm so bad at FIFA, stuck in division 9. Isn't much fun playing it either, even against CPU. I always get tilted to death by the not skippable substititution cut-scenes
Hugo Lloris isn't worth it to be fair Bud. Your better off with someone like Joe Hart for way less and more op

I appreciate the tips guys! Joe Hart would make a lot of sense with my current formation!
Btw, when do you apply a +60 fitness card to a player? Should I be waiting until a player gets his fitness down to the 30's-40's?
Whenever he is under 80. Take a look at the squad fitness cards though. Does it forall of the players (including those on the bench)

Yeah. Lots of reviews say that Lloris is **** in UT
Lets rank the best teams in seasons. 2 teams per star level. I start. Motivation is a must.
Im only sure about 4 teams so lets do this. Help me out! I have a "(?)" at the teams which i am not so sure about. If you disagree, please feel free and try to prove me wrong
5*: Spain & Real Madrid
Spain has the best players in the game. Playing them with a 4321 is gold. Than, they function like Barca does IRL. Fantastic passing and ****loads of skills.
Casilias, Areobla, Ramos, Pique, Alba, Xavi, Iniesta, Cazorla, Silva, Mata and Torres.
Towards the 60th minute mark, you can put silva on the middlefield for staminapurpose and sub in: Jesus Navas, Villa and Pedro as strikers for more pace
Real Madrid is as always OP. Casilias, Ramos, Ronaldo, Benzema etc. Yeah, you know.
4.5* Arsenal & Dortmund(?)
Arsenal is overall really strong. Fast and good deffenders, and a ****loads of pace upfront. Great middlefield too.

Sweden(???)
- Incredible pacy deffence with pretty much everyone over 80+ pace. A middlefield filled with long distantshooters, great passers and strong players. Zlatan.

Peru. For a 3.5* team, Peru has some serious firepower.
Farfan, Vargas, Pizarro and Guerrero. That makes them stronger then every other 3.5* team? I never lost a game with them. Their standard formation is great too.
I did it. Got Sheffield United up to the UCL through a few astute signings and a great youth system. Two particular kids from my youth team are now up to an 82 and a 79, leading my team to victory, starting striker was already on the team and has been in great form all year, and I have two solid holding midfielders. Complete lack of defensive depth though. I have 5 defenders in my entire system. But youth team is continuing to be strong, and all the youth players I've signed are building up nicely.
60$ for 500k. Not too bad
