awww...gonna be hilarious to watch Schnieder crumble and all Van fans claim they never wanted to get rid of Luongo.

RE: NHL players playing in the KHL

Wait, apparently some (or several?) players would stay there instead of going back to the NHL? I must be missing something...

Anyways, who feels bad for the Devils?

wow i thought that was all a russian dream. Jersey is so boned if he stays over there.

edit: and I'd be back to cheering for them, just out of pity. Man, it would be kind of hilarious if he left and Jersey won the cup.

They need a few losing seasons in a row to take some of the arrogance out of the fanbase. Kovy won't be staying in Russia. NHL stars have no good reason to stay there. Only the middle tier guys have any real motivation.

Re: Luongo to Toronto.

If true, doesn't that leave Toronto pretty thin at center? (a position they're already pretty weak at)

i can see some of the russian guys stay, Lubo has been pissed about being dealt to the NYI i think he'd rather play in kazakstan then for Wang.

we'll see how this shakes down, but surprising that KHL is leaning towards not honoring their deal with NHL.

Leafs got a solid deal on Luongo if true. Canucks get a solid center to fill in for Kesler until his return but that's about it. Was expecting a bigger return for Luongo tbh. Leafs will be even more desperate for a #1 center now though, unless Kadri is finally projected to make the line-up.

And it may be mean but I'd laugh my ass off if Kovy stayed in Russia. Highly highly doubtful though.

The catch 22 with Luongo is his massive contract.

Obviously since nobody can actually confirm it till the whole CBA thing is official.

All they can do is deny everything for obvious reason.

True. My rule...don't believe a trade until a mod pins it. Mod powers exist for a reason.

If Scot Beckenbaugh was in charge, it would have been settled yesterday.

I am so fighting the desperate urge within me to go over to the Devils board and post: "So Kovy is the loyal guy eh?"

BTW I hope that Luon8o deal is true because as expected the Nucks got jack**** in return for him. Although I will so miss his annual playoff blowups!

What would Brian Boitano do
If he were here today,
I'm sure he'd kick an ass or two,
That's what Brian Boitano'd do

Can't believe all the hardship D. Moore has had to endure over the last number of years. The man is constantly moving from team to team, never finding quite the right fit, his brother gets sucker punched and is paralyzed for the rest of his life, and now this. Awful, just awful.

Stay away from the Devils' board. Not worth the infraction.

Meh. It's not like he posts often enough to have the infraction actually affect his account. Will expire by the time he starts being active again. Go for it.
