Giroux was just on WIP and the call got axe'd after they asked him about Bryz. Totally awkward, They danced around what Giroux's response was. Eitherway i found it hilarious that Giroux got him self kicked off the air haha.
Anyone know what he was saying? Maybe the radio version didnt cut it out?
Updated: He said S hit. and when they hit the button the FCC automatically kills the call. Damn i was hoping for something more.
Let's be serious here...he...didn't get it done. It was a team effort, and I'd pick 5-6 guys over him as reasons the Kings won. Its not like he carried the Kings....he gets to be a 2nd line center there, and not "the man" like he was here.

Giving him the C is just a formality. He's already the teams leader and already acts that way. Stop with the superstitions! Richards was always introverted. He was given the C, Giroux is taking it

Pretty much these.
G was the unquestioned heart & soul of the team last year after Pronger went down. It was his team, and WILL be his team.

I wonder if L Schenn has a strong year if he will get some Captain talk. That has always been a trait associated with him when be described by the media.
I still think Briere should be the captain, and then Giroux when Danny is gone. Danny is one of the most professional guys in the game, he's always willing to speak with the media and tells it like it is. Any young player would be wise to take a few notes from Danny Briere.
If Coburn was a little more consistent with his play, he would be a shoe in for the captaincy. He's been here the longest and is very durable. Not to mention Philly loves giving the C to d-men.
Briere should get the C. No reason Giroux should have it before Briere or Timonen.
It should end up being Giroux or Hartnell. Briere has two years left and Timonen might be gone after this season. Where as Hartnell is here for another 6 years and Giroux will be here longer than that.
