We are going to hate Steve Ott. He is a super pest. Having him and Kaleta on the same team will not be fun for opponents.

I'd love to have Carks back there for his toughness, but I can't blame Murray for not giving him the 3 years and 1.5 million per year the Isles gave him.

Roy was a Sens killer. Glad he's out of the division.

My very first thought back when the trade broke. Was ecstatic that Roy was out of the division. The Sens were never able to shut him down.

I don't know if Mackenzie is trolling or wut, but he just tweeted this:

"Toronto Maple Leafs have apparently fired Brian Burke as general manager. Working on official confirmations."

If true though, BOOOHOOAHAHAHAHAA!!!

Is that the real MacKenzie and not a fake? Wow, if true? Leafs fans reaction to this will be hilarious.

I'm not sure it's going to hurt but it may be worth noting that all 4 of those guys are tough and can fight. The question is, do we need to fight so much? The other question is can methot, lats, ?? replace that toughness.

Personally i think we'll be fine. Compared to most teams we are plenty tough.

What?

Why fire him NOW? The timing of this decision makes zero sense.

I'm guessing he didn't want to give up whatever the Canucks wanted for Luongo and owernership didn't agree.
