You're probably not losing much by moving Bateman and promoting Brown.
I was wondering about something like that being possible in a post about grasping at straws...It does clear and over age spot for O/A Bailie (Lon) if they want to pick him up off waivers. If so they'd probably be trading Pavelka for picks or it gives them an extra pick to use in their pursuit of a D-Man. Also allows them to get a better O/A D-man.
Trouble with dealing Posa he was one of the few defensive D-Men on the roster. Only leaves Sieloff & Sanvito as defensive D-Men.
.....and since I'm grasping at straws...is there a d-man or Fwd we cut who has been carded (Braithwaite ?) that we could entice back.......
I would say picks only,and in answer to your 2nd question,yes,and then when said players team is done he can play the rest of the season
What I would do is pick up a defenseman,plus trade a low pick to Kingston for
Kyler Nixon who was waived,keep in jrb,he can play up to 9 games because he has been waived,and then when his team is done,u call him up
He had respectable numders last yr 7g and 21 a with Kingston,small 5'10 but an upgrade on Bateman

THERES ONLY 1 A CARD LEFT....so if you get Baille hope you like Bowen and Bateman at 5/6.
I dont think this team will get past the 1st round for sure now do they trust Bateman more then Posa either way Bateman or Bowen in the 6 slot even if there is a move and the D isnt strong enough IMO...i mean you can score all the goals you want but if they cant keep the puck out there going in circles.
Trade Koko and we could get two players in return. Maybe somebody made WR an offer he couldn't refuse on Koko
well the press conferance hasent happened yet right? so you never no maybe hes on the bubble about wheather to keep him or move him for a deal he cant say no to.
I don't believe there is a presser for Koko, but he's at the arena and being made available to the press. I don't know if this has to do with the Posa situation or not, but it's what I'm told.
