Yeah there are a few guys like that, wouldn't mind bringing him in or signing a deal similar to Armstrong.

You think he already reached his max potential for the AHL based on 30 games?

The interview where Therrien is talking to Bergevin is I think right before or right after Bergevin was hired as habs GM. Therrien tells him that 'there has to be two people up above who are really proud of you'. Bergevin kinda tears up after that. In many of the interviews with bergevin, he credited his deceased parents as a major source of inspiration for himself, and you can tell it's still really hard to talk about their deaths.

Dont know about training camp.
Wow that could be disastrous during a losing streak. Or any time Gomez is on the ice, really.

Yeah, I'm not convinced Fehr can stay healthy but like Armstrong that means it could be possible to get him for cheap and he looked good in Finland. A healthy Fehr is more skilled than most of our bottom 6.

The Habs didn't have a 7th round pick,that's why.

Fair enough.

So I guess that makes Diaz and Weber the faces of the last place Montreal Canadiens.

A not so interesting update regarding the camp...

According to Martin McGuire (http://www.985sports.ca/) the following players were already on the ice in Brossard donning the CH:

Moen
Gorges
Bourque (new #17; said he is very confident)
Armstrong
Desharnais
Gionta
Weber (received a lot of ice time during the lockout; hope to bring this momentum/confidence here)
Eller
Cole
Prust
Pacioretty
Bouillon

Dudley, Therrien and Carrière were present.

And some outsiders: Darche, Hamrlik, Letang

Price, Budaj and Markov should be there within 24 hours and Plekanec (minor injury) should be ready for the first game despite not currently feeling 100%.

I'd be surprised if Weber plays more than a few games this year, and probably as a forward, so no.

Pretty standard procedure. Not too often you'll see a roster player at camp if he doesn't have a contract. Probably something to do with insurance and nothing much more sinister than that.
