2) Why was only given a 2nd round pick as compensation for Nashville's offer sheet to Quinton Howden? He signed a two year, $3.970m contract, and the compensation screen states that between $3.970m and $5.954m it should be a 1st and a 3rd as compensation.

I know NJ has a ton of cap space when I dealt with him..like 20M. Maybe he has reached the 50 contract limit?
As for your second question I have no idea. I know there was a few players of yours that I sent offers to and it said the compensation would be "no draft picks". I was wondering why it would even bring it up if you got nothing.
Compensation for up to 3.969 was a 2nd. I bumped it up to 3.970 and it didnt change for some reason. I have no idea why either, but I double checked it before I sent the offer.
If you were expecting a 1st and 3rd and thats why you let him go, I would swap the second I gave you for my 1st
My goal was to get away from the real life Predators, aka all defense no offense, and I think I accomplished my goal. Now if I could just not lose in the first round like I have 3 times in a row and I'll be happy

I have 16 mill in cap space, and only 42 players signed. No idea why it was rejected, but feel free to send it again, may have just been a glitch or something.
My team remains the same as last year except that a lot of guys' overalls have dropped. I was going to try to capture another cup, but due to this game mode being half broken, I couldn't sign any free agents. If my team does not do well this year then a rebuild will be coming! E. Staal, Semin, Erhoff, and Liles could all go. Possibly even Cam Ward. I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but just letting you guys know in advance.

Yeah, that's in part why I let him go. Swapping the 2nd for a 1st should be fine. Just send the offer and I'll accept.

I might have some of the overalls incorrect, but it's close enough. I've decided to make everyone on the roster available. Like I said earlier, a lot of players have gotten worse and/or are nearing the end of their careers (Liles and Erhoff). We can probably still make the playoffs, but I'm tired of this team and I think for the most part, they are past their prime.
Send me offers! I'm looking for young players at all positions.

I like my lineup headed into the season. I would like to move one of my goalies(draft picks and Def prospects in return) and maybe a centre to develop Reinhart better.
Just checking (and I may look like an idiot after saying it), but you guys do know that the next draft is 2017 and all these 2020s being passed around are because EA doesn't know how to sort years and have them up top?
