Uh...what's his play in Tampa have to do with his ranking as a Canuck? By that logic, you'd rank Messier the top Canuck of all time? (I just threw up in my mouth a bit)

Just like *IF* Salo stinks it up in Tampa, it has zero bearing on how much a solid defenseman he was for the Canucks.

Both players were 'well past their due date' when they left the Canucks but that doesn't erase the contributions they made to the club.
