Verifying hockey signatures

Hi Members

I have been given permission to ask any of you to help me in identifying hockey signatures that I have on a goalie hockey stick. There are thirteen signatures in all
but I can't make out at least four of them. Pictures have been taken which I will attach to see if any of you can help me on this.
The signatures I have made out so far are:

1. EDDIE SHACK

2. WILF PAIEMONT

3. MAURICE RICHARD

4. JEAN GUY TALBOT

5. YVONE LAMBERT

6. GILLES GILBERT

7. JIM NEILSON

8.GILLES MAROTTE

9. AND ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE RED ARMSTRONG.

PERHAPS THESE NAMES WILL GIVE YOU A CLUE OF THE YEAR THESE PLAYERS PLAYED. (I'M GUESSING IN THE SIXTIES) AND THEIR TEAMMATES IF SOME OF THEM PLAYED TOGETHER ON THE SAME TEAM.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND PLEASE BE ADVISED THE GOALIE STICK IS NOT FOR SALE. I LOOK FORWARD TO ANY REPLIES

THANKS

LARRY

PS ONCE I KNOW ALL THE NAMES WOULD ANY OF YOU SUGGEST HOW I COULD VERIFY THOSE SIGNATURES?

Well, you appear to have a stick signed by players spanning several decades including ex-NHL Referee Red Storey (1950-1959). I'd imagine the things either from a Cards & Collectibles Show or possibly an Oldtimers Charity Game held sometime in the 90's. Wilf Paiment retired in 1988, so likely mid to late 90's.

Note; That middle signature could be Christian "Chris" Bourdeleau who played for the Montreal Jr. Canadiens & then the Habs for a couple of seasons in the late 60's, then with Chicago, into the WHA, retiring around 79... the 3rd signature, sorry, no idea. Cant make it out.

The first one is Red Storey. The second one is probably Christian Bordeleau.

4th Picture, sorry, no idea. Maybe someone else? Im sure there all legit, but you can make sure by emailing pictures to a Sports Collectible shop that specializes in hockey.

And ya, thanks reckoning. "Chris" Boudeleau I believe. Nicknamed "Pepe".

I found this on kijiji http://london.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-se...AdIdZ313417926

It's a series of programs from oldtimers games, and the first one from Feb/93 has most of the players listed in this thread. So I'm assuming the stick came from one of those games that year, but not necessarily all the same players as the lineups would change a bit from city to city.

Nice bit of Detective Work there. The giveaway was Red Storeys' signature, along with the multi-generational player signatures. Old Red used to Referee those games extensively as I recall.

Verifying hockey signatures

Wow -Thanks to all for your information-a few others now identified-three or so to go still. Hope someone recognizes these ones as they are sure hard to determine,
at least by me.

Appreciate your time and effort to respond to my query.

Hope your all waiting for hockey to start. Im a Canuck fan as I was born and raised in BC. Moved to Alberta 7 years ago but still a Canuck fan.

Guess on number four. Possibly Jimmy Jones who played with the Leafs in the late 1970's.

Verifying hockey signatures

Its either Jimmy Jones or Jimmy Mann. Jones name doesn't show on the player listings for the old timers games but Mann does.So for now I will go with Mann.
When I get to verification of the signatures I will give them both names.

Right now I have two I can't make out although one looks like it starts with an F-
see fourth picture above. The only name beginning with an F on the roster is Frank Mahovlich.

The other -see third picture on right above could be Dave Tiger Willaims signature as it looks like an W for the start of the last name. He is on the roster list.

If anyone can confirm this that would be great.

Thanks guys for all your help to date.

Larry
