So nobody wants Bateman, or WR is asking too much for him (probably due to the price he paid for him). Watch Sefton play for London as an OA next season.
Sudbury seems to be half-ass selling, trading away better talent, but for vets in return.
Still holding out hope for Koekkoek. Maybe Posa was dealt because he'd be dropped down to the bottom pair here and Boughner likes to play five defencemen - Sieloff, Koekkoek, Ebert, Murphy and Sanvido with Bowen and Brown getting the spot duty.
So keeping my fingers crossed for Bateman and a whackload of picks for Slater Koekkoek.

Brown is on a B card and can only play in 5 more games and again his name is "X'ed" out on the ohl website....

I think all but one of his games came during the WJC's which don't count. So we should have at least eight more games out of him, and then when his Jr. B team is eliminated from the playoffs we'd have him full time.
He has a NTC, I wouldn't rule him out for a trade, but he will be the judge of that. Pretty sure WR is holding up a deal due to the past one. He just needs to accept the fact that he won't get a huge amount for him on the market

My thinking is that there were offers for Sefton and Koekkoek, and now with Sefton gone, the shift focuses to the latter.
Bailie has cleared waivers, looks like no teams were interested in an OA goalie. He may switch leagues, or play in a lower league.
WOW! I feel really bad for Bailie, from being on the top team to no team at all. What a betrayal by London. From their starter to giving him up for free. If we don't make any more deals I hope Windsor scoops him up. Even with the crazy London support, he is still a good goalie. Sign him and let him and Pavelka share the duties, give DeKort his deserved time in Jr. B.

If Koekkoek would GUARENTEE be back next season I would most definetely want him. If not, why give up a good chunk of limited picks to get him for half a season? I don't think were trying to make a run this year...

I think it's pretty close to a guarantee I mean it's either the OHL Or the NHL and he isn't ready for the jump...
Assuming the Plymouth/Saginaw trade is happening - which other teams still are looking for a big buy? I have to believe London is more tweaking, and they'd be looking for a forward at this point if they add.
Plymouth, Owen Sound and Kitchener would have all made their big moves.
Oshawa, Belleville, Barrie and Sarnia still could be looking to add, with only Peterborough looking to sell big pieces with Koekkoek and Quine. If Galchenyuk is gone in Sarnia, I don't know if they'll look to buy, same with Scheifele in Barrie - does he stick with the Jets?
While Khokhlachev’s junior hockey career will likely be over once the Spitfires miss or are eliminated from the OHL playoffs, his impact on the Windsor organization will last longer than that.
“We’re going to bid on hosting the Memorial Cup next season and while 'Koko' won’t be here then, he is going to help us get into the playoffs and then do some damage there,” Boughner said. “You can’t host the Memorial Cup if you missed the playoffs the season before.
Does the bolded blue mean "can't" as in there is a Mem Cup Host Committee rule that says as much or "can't" in a more "I couldn't see the Mem Cup committee possibly rewarding the gig to a non-playoff team so we better get in there"?
Also if it's play-offs or bust as Boughner is implying - why trade your OA captain away for a draft pick?
