You realize that makes Horcoff awfully valuable. And if not why would Edmonton eat 2.75 per year instead of just buying him out in the offseason. It's just ridiculous to think the Oilers would do this.

For some reason the Sharks match up really well with the Kings. The Blues not so much.

But yeah, TM's refusal to move Pavelski back to the 3C spot and spread the scoring depth drives me crazy.

EDM offer: Belanger for Murray

Gives us depth on D and SJ a good #3C who can win faceoffs.

I offered Nick Spaling + Jonathan Blum for Dan Boyle in an old thread and people didn't think it was too bad.

Haha Lombardi did. Oh well, he's been a decent role player for the Kings but certainly not 2nd Rd worthy. BTW, you think Wilson can pry Sutter from Pit? I think he'd be a great fit for you guys and they can use a winger in return. Just a thought...

If the Sharks feel they need to move Boyle for cap reasons, I would not be entirely opposed.

Not a snowball's chance in hell. No interest whatsoever in Murray or in giving up Brodziak, who we just signed to an extension a few months back.
Hmm..I guess I'm the minority but I'd give up Demers over Braun any day

I am unless SJ adds. Boyle is 36 and has about two years left in him. Blum looks like he will be a top 4 Dman for the next 15 years. The prove-ness of Boyle obviously help, but I would say those two have similar value, so we're just trading Spaling for no reason. Maybe SJS can add a Murray or someone coming back?

The real issue is that Spaling is the most valuable piece in the deal.

We can add "the beast" aka Michal Handzus.

Jux! Weird to see you on the main boards.

Spaling isn't as valuable as either Dman, but he has some value, and isn't worth losing for free. (My username is ironic btw, don't really like Spals that much. Josi's Fanboy would be much more accurate.)

Keep him. Less than no need for him on our team.

I was there for the story of how your username came to be, and for the Josi-fanboying.
