For some reason the Sharks match up really well with the Kings. The Blues not so much.

Haha Lombardi did. Oh well, he's been a decent role player for the Kings but certainly not 2nd Rd worthy. BTW, you think Wilson can pry Sutter from Pit? I think he'd be a great fit for you guys and they can use a winger in return. Just a thought...

I am unless SJ adds. Boyle is 36 and has about two years left in him. Blum looks like he will be a top 4 Dman for the next 15 years. The prove-ness of Boyle obviously help, but I would say those two have similar value, so we're just trading Spaling for no reason. Maybe SJS can add a Murray or someone coming back?

The real issue is that Spaling is the most valuable piece in the deal.

Spaling isn't as valuable as either Dman, but he has some value, and isn't worth losing for free. (My username is ironic btw, don't really like Spals that much. Josi's Fanboy would be much more accurate.)
