Got him to accept a trade though:



Granlund (makes me worse at center but Granlund will improve)
Tyler Eberle (65 overall defenseman, 4*)
2017 2nd round pick



Jordan Staal (they need a first line center)
JM Liles (they need defenders)
Steven Kampfer (another defender they can use)

What do you guys think? I think it is more fair than the original deal.

To Columbus:

Harri Pesonen (79) - Upcoming UFA
Andy Bathgate (78) - 2 years remaining

Gives them some more depth and youth, and they still have Foligno on LW

Umberger is like 34 or something, I just need an upgrade for this season.

I forgot his name but hes 82 overall (3 star) (25? years old) but final year on his contract as an RFA.

I want him because he has a better cap hit than Colaiacovo and will be a better fit as TWD on my third D line and has been more reliable to play all the games than Coli. I also get a little cap relief, I am already under with another deal of mine.

Columbus gets 2 top 6 D for their one D which they dont have and they get a decent 3rd liner in bergenheim who had 40 points last year, and a goalie prospect to help them out on the back end.

What do you guys say?
