Kaberle came into the On Route travel plaza I manage today. The Odessa one just before Kingston. I missed him but one of the women got his autograph. I imagine he's on his way to camp.

Seems people of MOntreal and the Bell Centre DJ peeps have a fixation on lame music, such as Coldplay, U2 and other ****** techno/pop music. When you go to the games it should be amped like a rock show. We're watching a physical game here, not some teenybopper act.

I want to say it was Carbo and Glen Healy.

Then later on, Mike Milbury came on and defended the hit.

Moen
Gorges
Bourque (new #17; said he is very confident)
Armstrong
Desharnais
Gionta
Weber (received a lot of ice time during the lockout; hope to bring this momentum/confidence here)
Eller
Cole
Prust
Pacioretty
Bouillon

Dudley, Therrien and Carrière were present.

And some outsiders: Darche, Hamrlik, Letang

Price, Budaj and Markov should be there within 24 hours and Plekanec (minor injury) should be ready for the first game despite not currently feeling 100%.
He is kind of like the girlfriend you broke up with that just doesn't get it !

Greg Millen is the one doing color and yapping about it being a dirty hit.

I remember that hit was a couple of days after someone got concussed with a blindside hit and the whole "headshots" debate flared up again, so everyone was a little touchy-feely about any kind of bodycheck possibly being illegal. I think if Millen watched the video again he'd realize how wrong he was.

Really looking forward to seeing the energy Prust brings us, and keeping a keen eye on Armstrong. If he can bring half of what made him a big draw coming out of Atlanta to us, this will be a great reclamation project. I can't wait

What about Bourque ? He is the one i am anxious to watch playing healthy under a coach that asks his players to be tough and hard working.

I forgot about that small detail.... I would have got him in the 6th then ! Instead of Nystrom.

I have hope that somehow MT can get the best out of Bourque. When Bourque wants to be he can be a big body and uses it well. Some grit players seem to get their best when playing for MT, I hope that Bourque is one of them. He just needs to do this on a night in/night out basis rather than when he feels like it

Petr Sykora is waiting for the CBA to be finalized, so that he can seek an NHL contract.
He is still at home in the Czech Republic, but would like to re-sign with the Devils. New Jersey GM Lou Lamoriello hasn't ruled out bringing Sykora back after he posted 21 goals and 44 points in 82 games with the team last season. Sykora said he is open to signing with another NHL team if something can't be worked out with the Devils.

We need a guy like that top 9...wither with Eller or with Plekanec.

I'm really happy about Dumont. I had a feeling about this kid, and he just quietly gets better. I could see him as 4th C in 2013-14. Tons of energy, and good hands too.

High scoring juniors often make very good 3rd-4th line NHLers. I continue to think that all NHL forwards, even 'defensive' 3-4th liners, should have some offensive capability. Look at Carbo's stats in junior for example.

You never know, he could become a 10 goal 4th C, or a 15 goal 3rd C. I like the kid, always have.

It was right after Savard got walloped so the Bruins were particularly sensitive to getting hit at the time.

well he refused a 2-way contract by the habs. I think his hockey career is over(or is very close to being over) but the nhlpa should look at offering him some sort of position.

Look at Bourque's SO goal. Instant unexpected shot from mid stride, just unreal. Man I hope the guy gets his head straight.
