You might get a second/third tier defensive prospect IF you ate 50% of the cap hit/salary.

Leaf fan here.. the way I see it with Komisarek is that you take just about whatever they offer... even if its something like a 5th. That contract isnt the prettiest, especially considering the play you get from him, and to be free of it is never bad!!

I'll keep him based on his recent interview about the season.

He knows he's played bad last year, but he said he's lost 10-15ish pounds (iirc) and has become a faster skater.

He said he came to the leafs to win, and he wants to aid them by playing better which he knows he can do.

I really hope he rebounds, he's a great guy on the ice and with his charity work.
