Carolina, NYI, Florida, should all have been considered to skip the opening night before Buffalo. This is a much better hockey market where Saturday night games are gold.

I'm both a mini-pack and STH and have not heard any word on the schedule as of yet.

Request:

I no longer live in WNY, but would love to take my son to his first BUF home game (he's seen 1 at RBC in Raleigh).

I will be in WNY the weekend of Feb 8th.

If the Sabres will still hold a Sunday 10-Feb matinee (5pm start or earlier), it would be perfect for us to go.

I know those matinee games are very popular, and will use the normal Sabres general public & Stubhub channels to seek tickets, but if any mini-pack or STH can get a pair of 300 level seats for that game, I'd pay face value (i.e., above your discount), and buy you a beer before / during the game.

I also consider better seats, but may not be able to afford face for those, depending on seat.

Thanks.

I accidentally ordered 2 pairs of seats for the scheduled Ottawa game as part of my mini pack. If there's still a game that day I'll hook you up at my cost in section 322 on the aisle. This of course assumes I'll still have those tickets as part of my minipack.

Understand that the Home Opener no matter who it is against will probably be a Gold priced game. I will be coming home from St. Bonaventure University to go to the game, hopefully. Any Bona fans or alumns on the board not able to go to the game willing to sell 300 level tix at face value or lower would be greatly appreciated since I'm on a college budget.

(See PM)

If this pans out, I am submitting this scenario as proof there is a God.

They'll probably blow up the schedule and invalidate the seats we already have. But, hopefully it works out.

If anyone from around WNY has tickets for sale (if the schedule's released) or whatever, I might be interested What are the chances I can go to the box office and get some this weekend if the schedule's released?

Not to mention that the Sabres had a home game on 1/19 on the original schedule.

They technically don't have a schedule until the players sign off on the deal, which won't be until the vote closes Saturday.

True, true. But I'm excited to hopefully be able to go to games regularly. Beats the hell out of spending 30+ dollars JUST to get to the Garden on the train, that's for sure... The last time I was in FNC was the last time they had hockey, July 12, 2012, the scrimmage match with the prospects. This'll be fun

The first four games are confirmed:

My first 4 games were completely accurate. 1/20 PHI, 1/21 at TO, 1/24 at CAR, 1/25 CAR I do not have any times for the games.

The final two games are:

Source tells me Sabres will end season with 4/25 vs BOS and 4/26 vs NYI. That's about all I know. Then the real season begins! #16WINS

I'm sorry but that is a ridiculous excuse, why have they announced anything so far?

That's not an excuse, that's the reality of things.

The lockout technically is not over until both sides ratify the agreement. Until that happens nobody is going to release concrete information. A draft schedule is clearly done since info is being leaked, but that won't be confirmed until the players pass it.

The player vote might, for whatever reason, stretch into next week, which would delay camp, and therefore the start of the season.

You're going to get basically a full 7 days notice before the first game is played. If that's not enough for you, tough.

I've seen not only the Sabres twitter account but also Peters' own account tweeting about himself and McKee working with the players. Besides Peters' involvement with the tv show "Enforcers" on TWC, any chance he is moved into a Coaching position in the near future?

Procedures for the different ticket options are below and will reflect the official 2012-13 regular-season schedule, which will be released by the NHL in the coming days.

Season-ticket holders can expect to begin receiving their game tickets via mail. Tickets for the first three home games have already been shipped.

Absurd. The NHL could obviously and easily release a schedule that is contingent on player ratification. The "player vote delay" argument is obviously nonsense since NHL teams have already announced the date and time that they are going to start selling tickets. They're simply unprepared, mainly because the league is a Mickey Mouse organization.

I'm sure that is it. I am also sure that my shoelace is secretly George Washington and is telling me I can fly if I just try it.
