Corrado's not good enough for your WJC team Spott? **** you. You don't get him in Kitchener.

Come on Frankie, stick it to Spott and stick with the big club.

I don't doubt he'll outplay Connauton, Barker, Alberts etc. Outplaying Tanev though would be impressive.

I actually fully expect him to outplay Connauton and Barker. He did better than Connauton in his short stint in the AHL last year than Connauton's 3 years playing pro.

Grenier with 1 assist in his first ECHL game with the K-Wings. He was even with 0 shots. They lost 4-1. Mallet was pointless.

frankie

has anyone seen Frankie Corrado play live? I have not gotten much of a chance to see him live or on tv i missed the subway series..

I am curious how he looks out there from what i've read hes like a rock out there but wouldn't mind getting some input from people who have watched him play.

I've seen around 4 games this year so far.

He's big, he's fast, he has a very hard shot (but doesn't always get it through), and he has excellent awareness and positioning both offensively and defensively. Basically, he looks like a better version of Tanev. Looks as close to a surefire top 4 D-man as we've had since Edler.

If we trade Luongo(it seems almost inevitable at this moment) our prospect gruop will be a stronger depending on the return.Usual suspect are Frattin and Colborne, the guys we could get if he goes to Toronto.I haven't watched them more than a couple games so I wonder where they would rank in our prospect pool?

The prospect boost I'm expecting is Kadri + 1st (likely another forward based on what the Canucks like to do at the draft, and the depth of good C's in this draft).

Yup. There's a reason why a 5th rounder walked out of his first camp with an ELC.

Henrik Tommernes is playing also, Jensen scored a goal early on the powerplay but it was called off. He poked it in while lying on his belly after being hit.

Why was it called off? Gloved in?

I'm not sure, I think he poked it in right after the whistle was blown but its hard to understand the announcers.

Oups... sorry missed that one.

And yes he gloved it.
Not a big crowd today - People tired of the sloppy play lately.
Me, I'm sick in the real sense.

I'm told #Canucks prospect Pat McNally has been skating with an Eastern Junior Hockey League team. Was removed from Harvard's roster in Dec.

I don't know anything about the EJHL. Wonder if he's going to play, or just practicing?

I thought the whole reason he's in such a muddle was because he's too old for junior age hockey? Maybe I misunderstood that.

He's just practicing with the team. He cannot play in any junior league in either countries as he's 21 years old.

How'd this kid ever get into Harvard, seems like he's making a lot of foolish decisions if his goal is to make it to the NHL someday.
