Whats his height compared to Ennis?

Ennis's size actually helps his gamee. Not sure how big the gap is in skill, but it wouldnt surprise me to see this kid make it playing a similar style.

According to Wiki Ennis is 5'9 and the last measurement I heard of JG is at 5'9 or just under.

Similar size. Ennis is 5'9" probably 165-170 this year. Gaudreau is 5'8" 160 though he's no where as explosive as Ennis, his agility and hockey smarts are on par with him

USA Hockey has him listed at 5'9" and 150 lbs. You'd think that would be somewhat up to date. (PDF is dated 12/11/12)

We also need to start him on the Keith Tkachuk / Kyle Wellwood diet.

He'll probably gain another 10-15 pounds of muscle and strength by the season's end with BC. Going to that program was the best thing for him.

Still pretty thin then if hes actually 5'9. Good progress though, I am not too worried about his weight, he still has plenty of time to add on more.

I highly doubt that kid is 5'9 WITH skates on. Seriously, that kid is nowhere near 5'9.

He has been measured at it several times but you're right it is a huge conspiracy to convince HF that he is a viable nhl prospect

Oh my god, do you believe Marty St. Louis is 5'9 too?

Don't believe everything you hear, kid....look at him on the ice, he's a dwarf.

Watched the game USA vs Finland and he was no bigger than Lino Martschini.

Yes multiple sources have faked measuring him at 5'8-5'9 over the past year in order to accomplish ?

Multiple sources? like who? name me the multiple sources please. It's a well known fact that hockey players exaggerate their height on a common basis (Mattias Tedenby at 5'10) For instance 5'9 sounds alot better then 5'6 or 5'7 on paper.

Flames prospect camp had him at 5'8 and a half, Boston College has him at 5'8 from the summer and USA hockey had him at 5'9. Again multiple sources have had him at or above 5'8 I don't know why you are so concerned.

Do you believe everything you hear? Again did you watch the game vs Finland? he looked no bigger than Lino Martschini (5'6 143 lbs) on the ice, you need to face the facts that ur boy is a midget

He's a great young player and i'm in no way questioning his ability as a player, but he just looks alot shorter than 5'9 to me.

So you believe what you see on tv from a camera angle that isn't level but believe 3 times teams have lied to make JG feel better.

He has solid puck skills and a great release, but put him up vs an average d man( Leddy or Sutton for ex) he would be an afterthought

People saying he is enter than a younger better skating Teravainen is laughable.

Theo Fleury was listed at 5'6.

I've seen him in person, he definitely WAS NOT 5'6.

He didn't seem that far off from 5'6 when I met him.

No.

Remember when MPS tore up the World Championships and made their all-star team? Remember when he put up a hattrick in an NHL preseason game?

People were calling him the steal of the draft at the draft and especially after those events.

You can't judge how a player will do until he has faced NHL competition for a prolonged period of time.

It'd be nice if he turned out to be like Desharnais.

Leddy is a scrub. Gaudreau would have both of them mesmerized. Sorry that he would turn your boys inside out, brah.
