I heard they were very interested in ``Eagles'' green for a while, but that this prototype is more ``Celtics'' green. Other than that, I have no idea. I don't know what the new logo looks like, but that will probably make it or break it for a lot of fans."

glad they apparently arent going with eagles green. its too dark. celtics green would be perfect. Now the Randall Cunningham era eagles green would be pretty nice as well but I think that was Kelly green.
If they're talking current Eagles green, that would have been interesting. It's actually a very close shade to the San Jose Sharks' teal. I like the Celtic green too.
Sounding good so far. Celtic green is very close to the shade in that most recent concept I posted. They're fulfilling the idea of going with a unique color that will stand out on TV. They'll distinguish themselves from the Wild this way as well since they're wedded to forest green.
Eagles green has too much blue in it and just strikes me as being dark and dingy. No thanks.
Now that's pure class. Love the illustration of the city and the AAC, gives it tons of character. Well done Stars. I'd definitely buy something with that on it.
Any chance you could lay Dallas' current Gold over it. That seems like that might look a bit weird.

It's a little tricky because the "flat gold" the Stars use for web applications and striping is different from the "glitter gold" they use for crests and logos on jerseys.

I'm hoping those are the new colors now that I've seen them together. It will be interesting though if blue is in the mix. Wasn't one of the earlier rumors indicating it could be green and blue (Like Hartford or Vancouver)?
