I could see him having a Halischuk-esque season if he joins the team this year.

That is news to me. I have been a Milwaukee STH or 1/2 STH since 1988. Never heard Josi called that by anybody. Must be people on the north end of the ice!

You are getting Chris Mueller, 12 G 8 A in 34 games. One recent TKO against a punk from Rockford. He, Ellis and Blum missed practice today, as per the Admirals Roundtable and MJS beat reporter Dave Boehler. They are packing for Nashville.

TSN is just lazy.... you can tell most of th season preview was written in the summer and never updated...

the dont even list Tootoo as a subtraction for us and on the Blues page they said their biggest question mark was whether Coliacciavo wuld re-sign...

they also had a statement claiming that Weber had made it clear he thought he had a better chance of winning a Cup in Philly than nashville... I remember Weber saying a lot of things but I dont think he ever said that...

Trotz this morning said camp would have 13 F, 8 D and 3 G. Is Smith on his way up too? Or whoever is in cincy. I am sure it is to spell Rinne and Mason in camp, but am curious.

From what I can gather it looks like Mueller, Ellis, Blum, and Smith will be recalled from Milwaukee for camp and Zoltan Hetenyi will likely be recalled from Cincinnati to Milwaukee until Smith is returned next week.

agreed with McGrattan so clown shoes isn't allowed to run our players ... Need some McCarty type of justice for that clown ... I still remember a hit he laid on an Islander player years ago ... just a total cheap shot ... took a run from the red line ... KHTFO ... Seth can probably help with Isles' Dman name

OK, so it's actually going to be Hetenyi being recalled to Nashville along with Mueller, Blum, and Ellis for camp. Smith and Hellberg will stay in Milwaukee.

I think he used to be a garbage player. I was never a huge Tootoo fan but there's no denying that his game certainly became more well-rounded over the last few years. He still wasn't anything more than average, but he was actually doing things other than being a guy that just went around trying to hunt people. I dunno if he'll pull out one of his old tricks against us because, well, it's us, but I have no problem whatsoever with having McGrattan around.

I know it's just cause Smith and Hellberg are the Admirals' tandem and we don't want to throw off their mojo, but let me pretend to be brilliant for a second.

Trotz said he'll probably start Wilson on the wing. Not enough time in the season to ease him into center which was the 82-game plan.
So looks like one of Legwand/Smith will be centering the 2nd line. Too bad. Sounds like we would have finally been able to see Wilson at center full time if there was a complete season.

The only experience that Hetenyi got in Milwaukee was opening and closing the bench door! It will be good for him to face NHL players and good for them to face a different goalie in practice.

Toots would never fight Big Ern.

Honestly I haven't been paying much attention to the Preds during the lockout but now that I'm back and see our projected line up

It's not going to scare anybody. Preds need to get off to a good start to the season and that might not be possible adjusting to life without Suter.

Wilson-Smith-SK
Halischuk-Spaling-Hornqvist
Yip-Goose-Mueller

Weber-Josi
Klein-Blum

if anyone thins you are gonna see anything different than 4 rolling hard working lines where a different line carries us each night you are crazy.

if we see growth from smith, wilson, and sk, we are fine.

I still dont get all the hand wringing and poor mouthing about our lineup. with the exception of Suter this is the exact lineup that was one of the best in the west last year.

If Chicago lost Seabrook, they would be a little worse, but you wouldnt say they suddenly suck and are terrible...

The fact is, whenever you lose a player, you dont lose 100% of their value to the team. Suter isnt being replaced by a cardboard cutout. Josi isnt Suter but he's not chopped liver either....

If we can stay away from the "I" bug, we should be one of the top 6 teams in the West... the problem of course is we could be top 6 in the West and still be 4th in the Central...
