I think Pittsburgh makes the most sense.

You're doing a lot of talking about something you seem to not know a heck of a lot about.

Fehr's issues were health related.

Fehr's shoulder injuries were, and still are, career threatening.

Last year with the Jets Fehr was extremely tentative because he had no confidence in his shoulders' ability to take a hit. One more issue with either rotator cuff and his career is likely over.

The Caps knew this when they traded him, the Jets knew it when they acquired him. That is the major flaw with Fehr.

That is one of the major flaws with Fehr. Not the only flaw.

He could look good on the third line - add some size to a line with Tedenby + Josefson.
He doesn't use his size much.

Fehr looked awful for us last year, but to his credit he has somewhat redeemed himself in the FEL. Last year he was rusty after missing significant time with his second shoulder injury.

I wouldn't mind giving him an invite to training camp and see how he performs. He would give us a decent option on the second line.

I think the worst mistake The Jets could make is to assume he redeemed himself in the FEL. Different league altogether. I really hope he doesn't wind up on The Jets.

Of course it isn't. If that was his only flaw, he wouldn't be having trouble getting an NHL deal.

Don't worry. He very likely won't be back to defend his position.

who is he? me? stewie?? careful. i do know why boudreau had him in the dog house. i am comfortable with that point of view. maybe i'm wrong about winnipeg. on the other hand if its true that he lost another season to injury, that carries its own serious problems, right?

lets see if someone picks him up. if not, then what? all the gm's are wrong?
