Yeah Seattle got 4.5 mil for Montero!! I wonder if they invest the cash on a new star DP or renovate their stadium that's already at full capacity, with 38000 seats! Great organisation and awesome fan.
Seattle didn't get that. Its a loan with an option to buy (which won't get exercised because Colombian teams don't have that much). Also Seattle doesn't need renovate they play in a football stadium that holds ~65k. They just cap it at 38k.

Yeah, I know it isn't that high. But I will be sitting in section 130 row E at SS (second row). So I'll be higher than what I,m used to, hehe. However, I'll be at the center of the pitch, no behind a goal. Hopefully the stadium is full for the two games at the O.
The home opener should bring many people and so should Thierry Henry. We might not beat records this year, but I'd be happy with 40k+.
It bugs me when a just good enough to be starter in the MLS player decides to go overseas to play for an epsilon club in europe. With all due respect to Ross County.
Last year I remember watching a video where the team with the 4th or 5th pick being offered 500,000$ for it, if the money is there I'd do it and eventually get a DP.
There was talk when the home openers were announced that all TFC season ticket holders would get a free ticket to the March 16th game, in an agreement that would reciprocate year by year(ie: we get free seats to TFC season opener at Rogers vs MTL in 2014)
But I have not heard anything about this since then. There are 15,000 TFC season ticket holders, are they all getting seats? If so we have a big job ahead us us in countering them for 90 mins.
I'm keeping my eyes peeled for details.
Anyways I'm really hoping we sellout both O games, because i'm rather ambivalent about going. I'd rather spend my money at Saputo later in the season,since i'm only budgeting for 5-6 games.

I think we do not really know where improvement is needed as of now since a change of playing style is in the air, like what player will flourish in the "new" style of play and which won't? Any forward who'd bring some variety and speed up in front would satisfy me.
