Suter'll make him grow 4 inches .

Just don't trust Spurgeron to make it through a full season. Bouchard can't and Bouchard is bigger than Spurgeron.

We've been making that joke since June

Add in a forward line of Jordan, Eric and Jared and you got:

Staal//Staal//Staal

Falk//Faulk

Imiagine the hilarity the color commentators would have with that

I wouldn't mind Falk in Crimson and Black tho.

To Vancouver:

Jamie McBain, Jussi Jokinen, Tuomo Ruutu

To Carolina:

Carolina's choice of Roberto Luongo or Cory Schnieder, Keith Ballard, Vancouver's 2013 & 2015 second round picks.

Carolina then markets Cam Ward to Toronto, Edmonton, Chicago, Columbus or Islanders.

Wow this is bad all over from a Carolina point of view, no way they touch that.

Three roster players for one of the few positions we're already happy with, sounds like a deal to me

That is absolutely horrible. I think the Canes are content with Cam Ward - I know I would be. No reason to pick up Luongo and completely throw away Jokinen and Ruutu.

“We’ve taken a hard look at everything,” Rutherford said. “We’re here to win and there could be some clean-up trades. People always like to look at trades and say who got the best of the trade, well we may make some trades that look funny but they are going to open up a spot for somebody else.

“We may do that or we may not; we may do one of those; we may do none or we may do two or three of those,” he added. “But what I do know is we feel pretty strong about where our young players are.”

Wouldn't mind having Pitkanen with Ottawa. He'd be a good add to our defense corps.

Why would they do this? Ward is just as good, if not better than Luongo....yeah pass if I'm caronlina. If you want that package be ready to send over Edler or Kesler in a deal.

Yeahl...Carolina is not the place to be sniffing around for Canucks goalie deals. You guys want Mason Raymond?

The Islanders badly needs a defenseman if Visnovsky stays put in the KHL. Our defense is looking very, very thin and must be strengthened

McBain for Read would be cool. Pitkanen hates Philly he's not coming back.

It's not only WJC. He's a terrible prospect, I can see why Ottawa fans don't want him.

It's not only the WJC, but the majority of it is the WJC.

Murphy is what he's always been: A very boom-or-bust prospect. If he can translate his game to the NHL, he's going to be a force to be reckon with. If he can't, he'll struggle in the AHL, let alone in the NHL.

But terrible prospect? Ha.

Nodl to Phoenix for Future Considerations.

Stewart to Blues for conditional 7th (on the condition that he dresses for 30+ games).

Dwyer to Chicago for Frolik.

Not trading McBain for a 3rd line Center.*

*An actual 3rd line center, not a player who would normally play higher but won't due to the Staal bros.

Which wingers might be available? The Sharks could really use someone like Chad Larose on the third line, what would it take?

I don't think Vlasic gets moved but probably Demers or Murray for LaRose

This seems about right, maybe Canes add for Demers who is young affordable with top 4 potential. Murray and Larose are both free agents next year and seem to fill team needs.

Ryan Murphy can go on to win multiple Norris trophies and I'll still call him "that *** pylon".

Even if I was announcing the winners:

"And this year's winner is... that *** pylon, Ryan Murphy!"

What would Edmonton have to offer up for Mcbain and Dalpe? Or just Dalpe alone?

McBain + 3rd for Gagner.

Don't think we'd trade Dalpe, he may be one of the players we're making room for. It's also tough to gauge his value.
