So how long will Jamie Benn's holdout be?

I never said "I" or any other NHL team was going to get him.

So more inconsequential and useless an effort than I originally thought. Good job!

However much time it took, the point stands that it's not like Benn spent the whole season with scrubs. He spent over half of his ice time with the team's best forwards.

Plekanec at 3.5M$ (1.5M$ absorbed salary) + Habs 2nd for Benn.

Habs pay him 42M$/7 years.

Absurd? If we're trading our #1 center, then we have to be getting one back. I wasn't saying that would ever happen, that's what Edmonton would have to start with if they want Benn.

Some of them made by you, actually.

In all reality Benn is worth to the stars what Eberle is worth to the oil.
I would consider a straight swap for the two.

Hall Hopkins Yakupov
MPS Benn Hemsky

We could flip Gagner+ 1st for a decent defenceman?

Might not be too bad.

They donīt play because its fun or anything.
I wasn't aware you knew him personally. And not every player is a greedy ***.

Dallas wouldn't. RNH+ or bust.

You sure you aren't overpaying on your part? I mean,....Plekanec= Highest scoring player among all Czech-born centermen who are 5'8" tall and wear neck guards .

It's not a neckguard, it's a turtleneck.

Something Benn will never have the courage to wear in public.

In Montreal? I seriously doubt it. The media and the fans would drive even The Buddha insane.

In this picture you can see a perfectly balanced men, who goes by the name of Thomas, enjoying a bike ride with his best friend and NHL legend : Jaromir Jagr.

Then why don't you keep him? Obviously you seem madly in love.

When you love you have to let go. And we have Davie Boy Desharnais who's already very small as our other center.

Why have just one midget when you can have two...and when one of them can turtle it with the best? Eh?

Hence my idea of a Roy/Plek one-two punch.

Roy doesn't like turtlenecks. Maybe Deharnais does. Plus, your midgets do so much better in the circus called Bell Centre.

Hey, as long as it doesn't involve midgets in turtlenecks, I'm quite open.

I can't wait for this. Benn will hold out, Stars will cave and overpay, then Benn will underperform, and each and every one of you will turn on him.
