Because you're dumb of enough to take a movie as fact. It's entertainment. You're also generalizing about a whole race. Europe is the most culturally diverse continent on the planet. We were not all slave owning Anglo-Saxons. In fact, look at where the world slave is derived from.

Miracle's a great movie.

Herb Brooks was portrayed perfectly.

Playing college hockey was a blast. Thinking about Miracle it's kind of sad that they don't just college kids to represent the US anymore. I think it makes it more exciting.

So, I'm in line for a promotion at work. In an effort to gauge my creativity in marketing--could be extremely important because we've discussed equity stakes in future franchises--my manager requested I come up with 5-6 promotional ideas for the Superbowl. I'd appreciate anybody who could either tell me what they'd hypothetically order on Superbowl Sunday from Pizza Hut, or propose ideas for menu promotions. Or both.

Menu is located here: http://www.pizzahut.com/

Semester has begun.

I am taking Chemistry, Physics and Geology this semester. With a humanities and writing class on top, 18 total credits. Crazy load.

Here's a new gem from the pits of the main boards, because I just love sharing with you guys: David Backes is a "more-than-PPG" caliber player.

You read that right.

Well apparently he receives garbage minutes. Cause you see, the Blues, with their 21st ranked offense are so stacked that they can afford to limit Backes to a strictly defensive role and don't need to turn his true talent lose. I mean what with all those 90 point players they already have.

I'd order a ton (50+) of boneless wings, cheesy bread and a couple of pizzas. And I have hosted a few super bowl parties of fairly serious proportions. That's what I'd order for like... me, my gf and my bro. If there were more people... 120+ wings, 4-5 orders of cheesy bread, 3-4 pizzas?

Just realized they don't have the WingStreet specials on the website. I know appetizers are important for any Superbowl party.

We serve mozzarella sticks, wedge fries, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, apple pies, nacho fries (fries topped with nacho cheese, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and diced tomatoes).

Thanks! I've been pondering whether or not it'd be financially feasible to offer a 50 cent per wing promotion. We do that every Wednesday. With orders of 100+ wings as we're expecting, not sure if it's worth it.

They are absolutely right. Backes is the vastly superior player.

Shouldn't there be some kind of cap on how much talent one person can have?

I'd probably get some mozz sticks and a couple orders of those nacho fries too.
