I think in the Cdn markets it will be tough to get tickets once again...we are hockey starved for NHL right now...most fans are, not all.....

It makes no difference. Every available seat will be sold. I'm postponing my attendance at games until next season because I don't want ro be caught up in the frenzy.

Tickets sale - Jan 13 & Jan 20

Quote:
Individual games on-sale

ON-SALE 1: Sunday, January 13 at noon

On-sale for the first two games of the season (games dates to be confirmed).

Sales via canadiens.com only. The virtual waiting room will be opened as of 11:30 a.m. Maximum of 6 tickets per person.

ON-SALE 2: Sunday. January 20 at noon

On-sale for all regular season individual games. (games dates to be confirmed)

Sales via canadiens.com only. The virtual waiting room will be opened as of 11:30 a.m. Maximum of 6 tickets per person.
After a painful regular season and a lengthy lockout, are people going to rush as usual to buy tickets? I bet yes!

People who buy tickets are saying that the lockout was ok via their pocketbooks. As much as I live/breathe/eat/sleep habs, anyone who purchases tickets is just reinforcing what has happened over the past 4.5months.

Nothing stopping you, but it would be a lot more beneficial to put the money you'd spend on tickets towards those businesses close to the arena's (pubs, restaurants, bars etc..) where they actually felt the pinch of the lockout. Watch games there, watch at home, watch online. Giving owners/players your money tells them that what they did was justified. There are plenty of alternatives than giving your money to greedy millionaires & billionaires

That is likely as well, but last I checked they didn't lock the doors and say you can't come in and enjoy the establishment for nearly 5 months! Plus, I am sure there are a lot of small places that could really use the business and support. (not from Montreal so I may be totally wrong).

The Habs have no reason to be sorry, they didn't want a lockout. Molson's answer to Marinaro in the press conference last week was pretty clear.
