The first words of the post you quoted are basically I already asked this in the jersey thread. So yes, I did already ask it. As I pointed out, I only got two responses and one said all of them.

I just bought a new authentic and I'm torn between getting Staal, McDonagh and Girardi on it. I would lean towards Girardi, but I've never owned or worn a single digit jersey and I'm not sure how I feel about it. McDonagh is probably my favorite of the bunch (slim, slim margin) but I feel his jersey is rapidly becoming extremely popular. I see a lot less Staal, which is appealing to me, and even less Girardi (I love having a "unique" jersey). Staal has the A which also appeals to me.
My brother is going to grab a McDonagh when 50s become available again on NHL.com, so I'd say you're right there in your assessment that he's becoming more popular; which makes sense.

I know for me (I already own a Stepan heritage) my next jersey when funds are available for that type of commitment will be a home blue Nash. Then, after McIlrath plays his first game as a Ranger, I'm jumping all over that.

Of the three you listed, I'd go Staal.

And also, really Hank? A Dean guitar? Really? Have some class.
Then again, every serious guitarist KNOWS how to play Stairway and SCOM, so Fallon probably picked a song everybody knew.

Such as: the greatest sarcastic performance on live TV ever recorded.

Looking at Nash in practice pictures, there's a huge temptation to get Nash, but he's going to be way too popular.

Guys, the song choice and the choice of guitar are supposed to be funny. It's a comedy shower. Simmer down.

I know, and I too am not a huge fan of the popular jersey choice (hence the Stepan jersey, which I'm sure will grow in popularity) but Nash has always been my favorite player. Every year I had to stop myself from buying a Blue Jackets jersey just to throw Nash on the back and now he's here. So, I can't help myself

Nash might be my next purchase, but 61 is a weird number.

Hank has got some big balls that's for sure, playing guitar on national television. I know he plays hockey on television but come on, showing off with his hobbies as well?

I like his short sleeved jersey lol

for YEARS Metallica's Enter Sandman was the "guitar store" jam. So glad that's passed.

I'd take any of these tired riffs over the manufactured garbage that passes as music today. Yeah, I'm that guy

Good job, Hank!

I am being facetious, so I really don't care. But Hank could have brought his own guitar. Or at least there's no way there wasn't a Strat or a Les Paul sitting around somewhere. If Fallon offered me that guitar to play, I'd laugh in his face

No, people still play it a lot. Mostly poorly.

I have a gorgeous Paul Reed Smith. I need to play more. Haven't picked it up for more than 20 minutes at a clip in years. Used to jam with my little bro daily; he's a prodigy on the drums.

CST24? SE Model? What're we talking about here. McCarty? Birds? I love PRS.

I'm a bass player myself. Warwick Corvette 5 is my main one. I also have two of the neck through Schecters that are totally underrated (one of them is Fretless). Got a Jackson Dinky that I swapped Duncans into as an electric and a relatively cheap Yamaha classical.
