I'd like to see it happen, but I dont think it will. Least, not yet.

I think Ted should be able to afford buying a good pick/prospect via an extra buyout... but it's his money, not mine, and I won't blame him if the answer's no. Of course who knows how the market will even develop for that kind of move since everyone gets 2.

13g 12a in 21 gp in SM-Liiga. Only comparison I can find is 9g 25a in 30 GP for Karlsson.

That's not bad, and the Caps are thin on the wing. Seems like a decent dive to me. Plus Fehr is a shooter, which could lead to good things with this group of pass-happy centers.

Don't hate it... Caps are thin at RW and might need the depth in this shortened season. The price is right, there's really no risk and he's still got some talent if he's healthy.

Peverley Rich 29GP 9+14=23 0,8PPG
Turris Kyle 21GP 7+12=19 0,9PPG

Peter Hasset(RMNB writer) wants him with Ovechkin and Backstrom.

I figure I will be chewed out for suggesting MoJo-Ribeiro-Fehr.

I would rather have given him an invite just to see what he has this week instead of a straight signing, but not much difference at that price point. As long as they're not afraid to cut ties/waive him should the time come.

Gives them 14 forwards. Doesn't have to mean much else.

Should try to get Kozlov and Pothier too. Maybe Tyler Sloan.

I'm cool with it though. More depth.

Yeah, was about to say the same thing. Inevitably, I think the Caps are more dependent on their core performing well then any UFA pick up. Comes down to Green, Ovechkin, and Backstrom.

Edit: and Holtby obviously.

Short season, anything can happen.

Great signing. He's overdue for a breakout season
