No, but Lubo spurning them still makes them look bad. Other than the Jackets, can you imagine any other team in the league getting hosed like this?

Its not unreasonable to expect a professional athlete to act like a professional

Nothing Isles can do about that

RT @RenLavoieRDS: 98% of players voted yes. New CBA will be in place when the MOU is signed.

Who were the butts that voted "no"/didn't vote?

Probably the ones responsible for dragging this to the middle of January.

Apparently there were twelve no votes.

Pierre LeBrun ‏@Real_ESPNLeBrun
Player ratification vote: 667 yes, 12 no - 98.2 percent. 679 of 763 players voted (89 percent)

Wouldn't shock me if the Russians were most of the no votes

It's the rich players who voted no. All of the grunts voted yes.

Probably Visnovsky, Toews, and ten players on the Blue Jackets.

I guess so far the only real news today is McKenzie's tweet after the MOU is signed, then the clock is two hours long before the NHL New Year's puck drop. Of course we don't know when 'that' will be finished, still in a holding pattern. It's almost coming up on a whole week since the agreement.

I'm sure some of those 84 guys abstained because they think the lockout was ridiculous to begin with.

I don't understand the reason for abstention. Thinking it was ridiculous is a reason to vote yes with gusto.

His job since retiring has been working for the Rangers. He continuously returns to Edmonton(as his family lives here) and drops in to see his former acquaintances. Do you always make up things as you type?

Do you think before you type? Messier clearly considers himself a Ranger more than an Oiler, and that's his point.

Aside from that, I have no clue.
