Same ppg as Point (0.7) and only just starting to be given PP time. He's stuck on the 3rd line, he is a combo of Schenn and Calvert, fiesty and fast.
Definitely in the radar. Thanks for mentioning him sbtatter.

This year, in the Q, he's playing on a very poor team. But the 3 point he has in 18 games suggest you're right.

There's not a lot of scoring forward with 20 points season that are draft in the first round...

3G and 5A in 3 games this weekend, now has 9G and 14A in 29 games, top 16 year old scorer in the dub, he's underated in places like HF boards. Got to thank Saskatoon for the Schenn trade that gave us the pick to get Hawryluk!!

I'm predicting the WHL to have a huge draft next year.

Reinhart, Draisaitl, Point, Virtanen could all be 1st rounders.

I'm particularly high on Draisaitl. His vision is ludicrous and he really understands how to use his body to shield the puck and give himself space. Criticism of his skating is vastly exaggerated in my opinion too.

Daniel Audette isn't even close to most of the guys on the list. I'd be surprised if he went in the top 60

Agreed, hasn't played well at all this year. I know they said he was a little hurt but it's not so extreme to how he's been.

For those close to the Q, 6 pts in 4 December games any reason for optimism for Audette?

I've never seen him going 1st round in the NHL draft, but if he keeps up that production at least the second is a possibility.

Keep an eye on Reid Duke too. He's been on fire since Lethbridge traded Merkley, giving him an increased role.

No love for Tyson Ballie?

He reminds me of a better version of Curtis Lazar, not much bust potential in this guy.

Watching him right now. I would not put him in the top 20 just quite yet although I do like his energy, skating, and all-round game.

Agreed. He will have to grow quite a bit to be considered for anything - currently listed at 5'8, 168 lb. - and he looks every bit as small as the numbers suggest. Still guys have been known to grow in their draft year so we shouldn't discount him as out yet.

I would add Cody Donaghey to that list as an honorable mention.
He's a really promising offensive defenseman playing for the Quebec Remparts.

Sweden won U17 WHC and still has just one player in TOP 20? At least Lindblom(WHC best scorer) and Anton Karlsson deserved mentioning.

A big and mean powerforward with a very good wrist shot... I hope my Habs draft him in the first/second round in the 2014 draft. By the way, Yan-Pavel Laplante has been great for him this season IMO. Right after Laplante came back from his injury in February and that both played on the same line, Pιpin was a new player with a lot of confidence.
