If you call and complain they'll tell you it's because of solar activity. It's fun, you should try it.

They first started using that excuse 3ish years ago when some solar flare came through; they liked it so much they've never stopped.

I've had a crap ton of problems for the past 1 or 2 months until like 2 weeks ago it finally went back to normal, if more then one thing was connected to my router and on the internet would just **** itself. I meant to call in and ask about it, but recently found that there were no problems now.

Comcast is the spawn of satan.....but Verizon is not much better. However, they are both better than satellite. I experienced the crap that is DISH network at my parents over the holidays. The excuses they provide for lost reception are absurd.

Anyway..yeah my Comcast service has been noticeably crappy lately. I still can't believe I haven't cancelled the cable service at least considering I hardly watch it because of the BS NHL strike...

Stomach sucker patent brings yuck factor to dieting

WTF!

Quote:
It's a stomach-turning idea - but an invention detailed in a US patent application published by Aspire Bariatrics of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, nevertheless holds out the hope of a treatment for morbid obesity without the invasive surgery and drawbacks of a gastric bypass.

The idea is to let patients eat and drink as much as they like - but they then drain their stomach some 20 minutes after a meal by connecting a pump to a valve surgically installed on their abdominal wall. You can see how it's fitted - with some of the tech passed in via the mouth and some via the abdominal wall - in the video here.

I wonder if it works the other way.

I try to gain weight all the time but nothing.

6'1 and 135-140 pounds is ridiculous.

Just let me pump food in

Finger Lickin' Bad

Ok I think this is worse on the gross scale!

BTW..has anybody experienced this ridiculous flu pandemic going around! Hit me last night..still trying to shake it off. How many days if anybody got it?

Quote:
A HORRIFIED student has vowed never to eat at KFC again after finding what looked like a chicken's BRAIN in his meal.

Disgusted Ibrahim Langoo was tucking into a Gladiator box meal when he spotted what he thought was a “wrinkled brain” inside a piece of chicken.

KFC have apologised and, after having the photographs analysed, reckon the unsightly organ may in fact be a KIDNEY.

The 19-year-old took a photograph of the three-inch stomach-churning discovery on his mobile phone and complained to staff.

Apologetic bosses at the fast-food chain – known for its Finger Lickin’ Good slogan – have now offered him vouchers for even more KFC meals.

My boss had it, and was out for a good 4-5 days before feeling well again. Hang in there, it's a bad strand going around.

Dude, no joke, I have actually gotten this in a piece of chicken before. I was maybe 11 or 12 but I saw it and just put it aside and didn't eat it. I should've said something

Also, this is just a statement to how pathetic our society really is. Rather than have some discipline and motivation to exercise, we'll pay to surgically alter our body to drain itself so we can just keep indulging. What a joke.

I'm curious as to how Norway's gun laws are now, and were before Anders Breivik.

What's the population in Norway? I think like 5 people in Norway probably even own a gun.

The US is the most heavily armed country in the world..guns per resident is really high. YEMEN and Serbia are the closest ones to us...

Ok looks like there are more residents in Norway with guns than I thought....per the wiki ranking. Nonetheless, I'm sure most of the owners are hunting reindeer...

Got it Christmas night, not stomach flu but a cold and fever then it turned into bronchitis. I never had a chance to rest because I had to work but the antibiotics kicked ass. I had it about 2 weeks.
