Pretty good guess, probably. I would not be surprised if Getzlaf signed before the season begins, but I think I read that Perry will not talk with the Ducks until the season begins

Are you sure you don't mean he won't talk until after the season is over? He couldn't talk before during the lockout.

OK, but that doesn't seem to make much sense. Many players don't want to talk at all during the season. I don't know why he would want to specifically wait until he is playing.

I just know that Bob needs to be focused 100% on Perry and 100% on Getzlaf until those guys are locked up or he knows they will walk.
