Lou doesn't ever give 'that' press conference. If anyone would it would be Vanderbeek but there'd be no press conference for that in all likelihood, just e-mail and social media communication from the Devils.

This brings up something ive thought of. I know we dont need dmen, but if Lou can get a great deal for a top dman, he should definitely do it

Am I the only one that would be ok with a Darche? It's better than some of the unknowns that would likely be used to fill our lines. And his stats aren't god-awful.

Why invite Darche to camp? He's pretty much useless and there are guys in Albany who can do a better job than him. Not to mention that Petr Sykora is still available, an option much better than Darche.

The other NBC option for the first week is St. louis-Colorado, the the final week the option is LA-San Jose.

They way it works now with the flex is NBC originally chooses two games, one flexed to NBC the other to NBCSN.

St. Louis is on NBC the two week prior to the 4/21 date, so I would assume that Devils-Rangers game stays on NBC

There's basically one 'real' Albany guy that's better, and Butler's already going to be on the roster. They have no depth right now, without Henrique.

I'd rather have 7 defensemen dressed than have Darche play to be perfectly honest. Or Tedenby. Hell, I would have been fine with giving a 40 year old Mike Knuble a try out over Darche.
