No Dumont? He's the ONLY worthy forward down there.

That is a myth that has never happened.

Sounds reasonable but there has never been a case of a team making such a trade.

Just saw a tweet that says the Habs released AHL contracts with Desjardins, Palushaj and St-Denis.

excited to see holland...want to see if he has what it takes.

Personally, I love Leblanc and didn't even want the habs to draft him at the time. I think I wanted Schroeder..but when this team becomes competitive again a guy like leblanc will put this team over the top.

He has certain qualities you cannot find throughout the league and strikes me as a big game performer.

Not necessarily. They could go with 12 forwards to start and only 1 of those 3 stays. There's also a possibility of a trade or waiver claim or FA signing (there are still some FA forwards left).

Probably to sign them at a 2way contract (only AHL during the lockout)

For what i can see on Hockey360, Gally is playing with Eller, Moen and Prust together and Amrstrong + White.

They also signed AHL contract to avoid waivers. No big deal here it's just for the papers.

Habs cap hit with Gomez next season is $60.2M; without Gomez it's $52.843 - big difference particularly when don't have Subban signed yet

would the 52.843 include galchenyuk or is his salary additional if he makes the team next year?

Might have happen in the last CBA for a team who had trouble to reach the Floor level but Bergevin said because the Floor level will be lower next year with the new CBA the possibility of seing it happens is nullify. His salary and cap hit was too high 7M and nobody want to pay 4.5M for a underplaying player.

until Pleky starts practicing

Unless they go Galchenyuk - Pleky - Gionta and Moen - Eller - Bourque

GThose are some pretty good lines, all things considered. I hope Gally can click with Eller and Gionta, or anyone else for that matter. We know that he has the skills to be good enough in the NHL but he needs to have the chemistry with the other guys on his team too or else he`ll get sent back down.

Therrien learned a lot from his Penguins days especially with all the young great players they had. I trust Michel today a lot more then his first stint

Good, so already they want to see Galchenyuk and Gionta, which we all know Plekanec will center, unless they want Eller to take the next step, whick could be a good decision if you think long-term.
