Let's just let Tedenby show us what he can do. He has been playing shutdown line with gionta in Albany. Why argue about it over and over again?

Agreed. I was just responding to the idea that Tedenby hasn't been scoring in the AHL, when he's in fact second on the team in scoring.

I am not too thrilled about Darche nor would I like to see Janssen/Barch in the lineup. I thought we finally figured out what kind of fourth line to put on the ice to win games.

I was hoping Carter-Gionta-Bernier would be it.

Yea don't think we resigned Sykora, but oh well. We could have used him definitely but hopefully Lou knows better than us and has a plan to solidify this top 6.

To be honest I dont think he was ever in Lou's plan. Maybe a backup if a prospect didnt pan out, but based on Lou's responses he didnt sound like it was gonna happen.

There's no way you can keep that line together 'and' have one of the goons play. Barch/Janssen aren't going on the third line, and you can't really make CBGB the third line en masse.

They'll still be together some games where the goons don't play, specifically the playoffs.

Hopefully Butler works out, he has definitely shown potential with Ottawa in the past.

It will be interesting to see if Pesonen is given a shot.

Having some depth guys available to move in and out amongst the 4th line is not a bad thing.

You can't necessarily bank on Gionta/Carter/Bernier, duplicating what they did in the couple of playoff series over a longer stretch this year or even into early next year. For one, while I appreciate his effort, I'm not that enamored with playing Gionta on a consistent basis.
