I am not too thrilled about Darche nor would I like to see Janssen/Barch in the lineup. I thought we finally figured out what kind of fourth line to put on the ice to win games.

Yea don't think we resigned Sykora, but oh well. We could have used him definitely but hopefully Lou knows better than us and has a plan to solidify this top 6.
I also don't like Sykora's chances of being re-signed now that his #15 was assigned to Pesonen.
To be honest I dont think he was ever in Lou's plan. Maybe a backup if a prospect didnt pan out, but based on Lou's responses he didnt sound like it was gonna happen.

I was hoping Carter-Gionta-Bernier would be it.
There's no way you can keep that line together 'and' have one of the goons play. Barch/Janssen aren't going on the third line, and you can't really make CBGB the third line en masse.
They'll still be together some games where the goons don't play, specifically the playoffs.
Deb is surprisingly prickly on twitter at times, it's awesome. And it's nice to know somebody from the Devils org echos the fans feelings. Everyone else seems to be "Good for Zach Good for Zach blah blah blah"

I like the ladies that cover the Devils. Deb seems cool and Sheri Ross can be awesome when she's pissed off haha
Having some depth guys available to move in and out amongst the 4th line is not a bad thing.
You can't necessarily bank on Gionta/Carter/Bernier, duplicating what they did in the couple of playoff series over a longer stretch this year or even into early next year. For one, while I appreciate his effort, I'm not that enamored with playing Gionta on a consistent basis.
