The chances of Gally to make the Habs have just increase with the departure of Gomez (for home)

I don't think they were really tied together anyway.

And I still think Galchenyuk will grab his #94 if he makes the team officially.

Well now that Gomez is staying home, that confirms Galchenyuk starts the season in Montreal.

Good educated guess but how it is reality? What if Pleks plays with Bourque and Gionta. And Eller with Moen and Prust? And Dumont with Armstrong and White? Where's Gally?

Not really. Habs could promote a couple of guys from Hamilton, and Noke could be back soon.

Alternating on 4th line/bench is likely what will happen.

Therrien already stated that Gally would be kept in Montreal if he can play a good 12 minutes per game. Which means at least being a Top-9.

here's how I see it:

Michel Therrien has already told that Gally will play AT LEAST 12 min per game. Which means that Gally will play with Plekanec or Eller! Forget the 4 lines lol.

Moen on the third line? Heeeeeee, if you want to finish last thats a good option. And Dumont, wtf, did you watch the Bulldog game, he is just ok at this level, forget the NHL this years. Dumon will play with the Habs this years if we have to much injury.

Here is my lineup for the 1 game of the season:

Pacioretty - DD- Cole
Gally - Plek - Gionta
Bourque - Eller - Moen
Prust- White - Armstrong

You can interchange Bourque by Gally and vise versa!

Did you just make fun of someone for putting Moen on the third line, and then proceed to put Moen on the third line of your own lineup?

lol

it is important to be able to laugh at yourself lol

My mystake sorry overlords, Moen can play on the third line, i will prefer to have him on the 4 line, but we are still missing a couple of key players to have a good lineup.

With Gally in the lineup or not, i dont think the Habs will do the playoff, but I hope not to be right... And yes Moen on third will help the Habs to tank this years

That's up there with a poster (a couple of years ago), that replied to his own post without realizing.

Not sure what's worse.

nobody knows!

But i think Gally will stay with the BIG club for the entire season. If I am not mistaken, the Habs has called 39 players in 1994! I dont think the Bulldogs can even provide more than 6 players that can play at the NHL level!

I don't get what would be wrong with Moen on the 3rd line? If he gets 16 points in 48 games like last season I'd be fine with that.

With the players we have, that's where he belong... And because MT like a tough team, Moen will play on the third line for sure. Maybe we will see Prust on the third line, even the second line when the Habs will play again Flyers.

Edit: But what is most important is to see Gally play with top players, and have some time on the PP.

"Gally can learn on 4th line: USA coach

It will be Marc Bergevin's call of course, but Team USA gold medal-winning coach Phil Housley says the Habs' top draft pick showed defensive smarts in the title game and could learn and grow in a 4th line role at the NHL level."

I didnt like Housley during the wjc, and with this comments, and I hope we never see him being the Habs bench!!!
