Guess Dan Ellis is out of the mix.

Watching the Chicago game last night and looking at his numbers this season, Matt Climie deserves a shot. He's a big, athletic goalie who might just be the answer.

But I suspect it will be Dan Ellis unless a goalie comes back in a Florida deal.

I say Raycroft. That way we can troll Leaf nation if we win the cup.

Seriously though, him or Huet would be my choices. Both would come extremely cheap and would not be slated to play many games anyway.

Well, with Steve Tuttle and his lethal back-hand retired, maybe her GAA and save % will go up?

With Gillis' tendency to deal with Florida, I'll say we get Clemmensen.

Damnit Ellis signed in Carolina, they could be a solid team. Their AHL guys were terrific (Bowman, Dalpe, Boychuk, Terry, Faulk, etc.) for the first half of the year.

That would be an even trade except I wouldn't want to give up that 4th rounder unless the Leafs included a couple more prospects...

I agree. Raycroft would be a pretty good backup imo.

And trolling Leaf fans.....

Maybe he meant Luongo is going to be the starter and what we need to know is who is going to back him up?
