this is true, he plays two fighters alot and sits a skill guy, instead of playing one fighter and having the skill guy in the lineup

His 5 on 5 system is mediocre I would say.
The big problems are playing 2 horrific goons 10-12 minutes a game and their complete lack of any sort of clear PP strategy. That and having almost zilch down the middle.
Meanwhile MT says there will be tons of line juggling this week. Eller on the wing still being thought of as a possibility.

Why not? Eller has average vision as a center and he's darn weak on faceoffs.

His "vision" is overstated, he's not a natural ala Desjardins but it's hard to blame him for not being able to turn Moen into a sniper while making most of his starts in the defensive zone. In Finland at center he pretty much saved Rich Peverly's Euro career. He's also 23.

I meant in the sense that perhaps a few posters attended the on ice sessions and would come back with reports. Just practice, I know. But I'm craving some on ice Habs reports.
I was there. Galchenyuk looked really good, deked Gorges pants off in one drill. He'll shine in this league sooner rather than later.
Most everyone looked in good shape and had good pace. Markov clearly our best player. Kaberle looked noticeably lighter.

I just watched the video. I can safely say now that Gaston is a clown. I just don't jump to conclusions without watching evidence.
And people, before you panic about Eller, please note that Prust AND White played center today as well. Nothing is done. Therrien wants to see for himself what's available for him if needed.

Eller playing wing shouldn't even be a thought. It has never worked in his first 2 seasons. It's like trying to play Pacioretty at center.

I would agree....but with whom was Eller playing? What if suddenly Therrien feels that Eller is a top 6 player and wants to play with Pleks and Gionta? Would you feel the same?

Probably. Eller as the LW on offensive minded lines has been tried a few times, it never clicked.
But he is a clown. But that was already known by now. But he surpassed himself today I thought.
