Danny briere will see the doctor regarding his wrist tomorrow Holmgren says - we'll know more about his wrist then.
based on last time table provided he's still like 2 weeks away, maybe more.

So, since Briere got hurt overseas, does that mean that the flyers can suspend him and not pay him?

well the season doesn't start for like another week, so an additional week would put it at about 4-5 games into the season right? at that point Briere comes back and the send Laughton back to juniors.

Hope Gus being 2 weeks away means we won't have to see Foster/Lilja/Gervais all that much.

Is it weird that I'd like Voracek better if he stuck with 9?

9 is my number.

He wanted to leave it free for Bobby Ryan in a few years.

Wonder if McGinn is going to make the team. Has a low number (15). Played on the 4th line today.

Lines per Randy Miller:
Claude Giroux centering Scott Hartnell and Brayden Schenn
Sean Couturier centering a line with Jakub Voracek and Max Talbot
Scott Laughton centering Wayne Simmonds and Matt Read

I think that was first session though. 2nd session Voracek was with Giroux.

Wow, what a crazy time at camp... I was the guy in the Bryz ducks jersey. had a blast.

the auto waiting area was bonkers. there had to be like 200 people waiting. Read, McGinn, Sestito (who drove with McGinn) Rinaldo, Bryz, Couts & Coburn all stopped to sign... lotta guys snuck out back entrance while security was still on hand..

With Briere in there on Couts wing, talbot on the 4th line with feds abd either of the other 100 4th line guys, thats three solid lines. The Read-Laughton-Simmonds brings a ton of energy.

These are correct. In addition, the other two lines were:

McGinn-Fedotenko-Rinaldo
Sestito-Wellwood-Shelley

The first session was the real "practice". The second session was PP/PK and the first unit was Timonen & Voracek on the point with Hartnell, Simmonds, and Giroux up front. They did PP/PK for about 20-25 minutes, and then did some optional drills for guys that wanted to stay out. I never saw Voracek on a forward like with Giroux.

Here is what Tim P. had, too:

Quote:
d-pairs all over w/Meszaros workign with several people
lines different for 2nd session: Voracek out there w/Hartnell & Giroux

Talbot-Couturier-Voracek
Simmonds-Laughton-Read
Schenn-Giroux-Hartnell
Foster opens with Meszaros

And Bill Meltzer:

Quote:
Fedotenko, Talbot, Grossmann and Coburn have been playing PKer role on the drill.
