Yeah, Mac had no fights, just crap penalties because he can't skate.

Bennett looking good so far in the 3 on 3 zone drills. High compete level, setting up a few scores.

That's nice to hear. Based on clips I had seen before, I was afraid he might lack "heart".

You don't have to fight to be a useful enforcer.

Couple of vets tried to muscle him up. You could see him getting visibly annoyed, and fight harder.

Agreed. Shame too because Dejan used to be very likeable.

Before practice started today, DB had a long skate with Megna. Very encouraging body language from Dan. Ended the skate with his arm around Jayson's shoulder. More evidence the brass loves Megna....

Sid looks like he could score a hat trick if the first game was tomorrow. He is so from another planet....

1) There's an arms race in the East with fighters
2) You need a fighter in the AHL.

I'm so disappointed in myself for typing that.

I'm more than confident with Glass and Engelland. Maybe Veilleux will take up the mantle in WBS - not like his career's worth much outside of that at this point, anyway.

I am a Tangradie guy. Was Disapointed with the lack o confidence today. Fumbled pucks, lost puck battles, did not look like Bennett, who looked like he belonged...

Well, now that Parros is in our Conference, we'll miss the possibility of dressing Big Mac for three games. And then there are always the Islanders.

Crucial time for Tangradi. Hope he keeps it together here.

1)So? Buck the trend. Fighters aren't going to jump your star players, the suspension + ensuing 7 minute powerplay are not worth it. Between Kunitz, TK, Cooke, Glass, Adams, Vitale, Bortuzzo and Engelland, we have more than enough grit.

2)So we'll sign one to an AHL contract. There's no need to give one an NHL contract.
