Niners are going to steam-roll the Falcons.

New England's offense *******. 4 total TD's between their #1 and #3 RB's.

I expect SF to go balls to the wall again next week.
How is this any different than the 49ers-Patriots game of a few weeks ago, which had a startlingly similar outcome?

SF @ NE is totally different. Brady is one of the best qb's of all time with a ton of weapons at his disposal. The Pats were also the beneficiary of a lot of favorable calls in that comeback.

Atlanta was up by 20 points at the start of the 4th at home. They have also lost their last 3 playoff games and you could see that creep into their faces when Seattle was coming back.

The 49ers took control of that NE game at the end and won without doubt. Atlanta only won today because Seattle scored too soon.

Kaepernick was a monster last night. The Falcons looked lost trying to defend Wilson today even though he didn't keep the ball on any zone read plays. They also did a very poor job at defending the tight end. I think the 49ers roll next weekend, even on the road.

Because you expect Tom Brady to do that and he demands it from himself. The Niners also clearly took the pressure off in the 2nd half, no idea why.
I think they have a better matchup against the Falcons, the Hawks are too damn physical and Wilson is too clutch. Home field won't mean a whole lot, the crowd was completely taken out of it during the rally and it just doesn't seem to have the same intensity as alot of other stadiums. If they don't fix that secondary Kaeps and Co gonna have a field day next week.

If it's the Patriots it will be all about Brady win or lose, so it really doesn't matter.

Still thinking about that Ravens/Broncos game too. Man that entire game put the entire wildcard weekend to shame. That might be the best game in the playoffs when all is said and done. Awesome performance for Baltimore to pull that one out.
I wasn't talking per se, but I was a doubter until last night. Then Kaep went and made history.

All they've done thus far is get exactly where they were last season. They are a better team this year regardless of whether it was Kaep or Smith. There is nobody that won't say that Kaepernick has higher potential. It's his consistency level that is and will still be in question since he's so inexperienced. He had a couple big games during the season and he's followed them up with some mediocre games as well.

I'm not a doubter of what Kaepernick will be. I'm a doubter that he's a Super Bowl QB right now.

Saw Patrick Willis at Mason Cafe last night at like 4 in the morning. I'd say he could do better for a famous football player but it's all good. Friend got a pic of Copernicus that night too.

While I agree that the 49ers will probably destroy Atlanta, I disagree with the rest.
The 49ers ONLY took control of the game against the Pats because of that kickoff(punt?) return near the end. If that doesn't happen, they may not score again, and Brady gets the ball back with a chance to win.

That said, the NFC West is going to be a brutal division next season.

Gonna be a Pats vs 49ers Super Bowl.

Pats will come out with that hurry up offense immediately instead of waiting til the 2nd half.

If the 49ers can handle it the Pats defense should be no trouble.

On paper this Super Bowl is in the bag for the 49ers.

If the Pats make the superbowl I don't see anyone beating them. Brady isn't going to let another ring slip from his grasp. Plus there's no Eli Manning this time around.

It only conflicts with the very end of the Niners game, which starts at 3 PM Eastern Time (unless I'm wrong).

That's what everyone said when they were 17-0. Never know with football.

If I had $100 to place it on one team right now it would be the 49ers.

The NE defense is not good enough to stop the 49ers offense consistently, and the 49ers defense has the potential to make some big plays against the NE offense even if they give up some points.

It would be a great game.

I hope it's a SF/NE rematch just because the first game was so great. However, Belichek is a genius, and will coach the Super Bowl a lot differently than he did that game. Still, it would be a fun game to watch.

Why would they not schedule these games at night AFTER both NFL games have finished and closer to the normal freakin starting time of an NHL game?

I like Hockey, but this is an example of how this lockout affected me this year. I'm not missing the end of the NFC Championship game for Sharks opening night. The NHL, once again in all it's stupidity, shows what a joke they are in terms of scheduling.

It is, but I don't think it's worth it. The game ends after the third period, not the first.
