Not surprising. He really needs to stop using his face to block pucks.

Good news. Let's hope it just buzzed him a little, and now he's fine

Souray shouldn't be allowed to shoot at Hiller.

I`m willing to not to bring Teemu out when Allen or Souray is on the ice. But at least Allen shoot on the net, not 1 mile wide.

They were expecting 500-750 people and ~5000 showed up.

Either I'm imaging things or Selanne seems a notch speedier than usual. It may be the extra time off.

Aside from that nothing really notable, trying to pay attention to a team and a half doing two drills at the same time is a bit difficult.

a) How does Hiller get hit it the mask so much? I swear, no other goalie gets hit as much as he does.

b) I hope they changed his mask design since last time to be more protective or something.

Just got back, I was surprised how solid gibson was. I would also prefer Leblond over Staubitz, in this one drill Getzlaf couldn't get the puck away from Leblond and he was one of the last guys to leave the ice.

Yeah, they just kept leading people in until about half the lower bowl was filled.

I know I said, I'd post pictures, but none of them came out all that good. Did anyone get a hat? They had boxes upon boxes of hats, probably made for a promotional night that never happened.

EDIT: As for my own scouting, nothing interesting or out of the ordinary stood out from the regulars. Fasth looked good as well as Gibson, Allen had some good shots, I thought Etem looked like he was skating much better from the last video I saw of him, and Scotty didn't look like he knew what to do as an assistant coach at a practice.

I wanted to yell out to him to take a shift on a drill.

The line for the hotdog/pepsi was 20-30 minute wait. Half of the lower bowl was full for the first session.

Getz looked like he had new legs. His sprints were impressive, looked less like skating on molasses and more like skating on ice.

I'm interested to see what people thought of the guys playing in Europe versus the ones that stayed home.
