All Purpose STH thread: questions, sales, exchanges, etc

Didn't see anything up yet.

I know in prior years, we had a stickied thread for matching those who "NEED 2!" with those who "GOT 2!"

As well as exchanges, swaps, extra seats...

My question for other STH to start:

Does your new invoice appear as if everything is unpaid for the year?

I carried over a decent size Ticket Exchange credit, plus monthly payments from June - September as part of the payment plan.

My invoice shows as if I still owe the grand total of my 12 games at STH price. Maybe it's just an updating issue, I sent a request to have it checked out, and I'm sure the customer service people are getting slammed right now.

Just curious if anyone else is seeing this

Thanks

Mailed invoice?? Or from your online account?

I haven't checked my account manager yet, and I have not received anything in the mail. I know I have already paid for the entire season (full season) in advance. Which the excess will hopefully go towards playoff tickets.

Online account

I haven't gotten anything in the mail either. Based on my calculation, I'm overpaid by less than $100, which like you, will roll to the playoffs this season.

What's weirding me out is, the invoice appears under "Completed invoices", but also references half the invoice total being paid on 1/15/13 and the other half paid on 2/1/13.

Yeah, mine shows the same. I am not going to worry about at the moment. I think they will have to work of the kinks of the system. For now, that is probably just a blanket way of listing everyones total amount for the season. Then later will come the individual account balancing out. That is my guess.

Yup, I'm (and assume you'll be) good.

I sent a request just got a call. Told me what my credit is, which is actually more than I thought I had. He didn't know exactly when individual invoices would show updates, but this call was good enough for me.

I'm now on the waiting list. Any gauge as to how many years a wait it is?

Hey guys - My gf and I are in the middle of a "quest" to see a game in every NHL arena, and we're looking to go to the February 2nd game.

Thing is, I'm also collecting a season ticket from each arena to eventually display once we have one from each team. Since the entire arena is STH I figure that shouldn't be too hard to find, assuming you guys have your ticket books by then

If anyone has a pair they're looking to sell, I can either straight up pay or I can trade you my seats to a Devils v. Pens game in NJ and just pay you the difference if your tickets cost more (mine are 226, front row, not sure the price of a Pens game since we have variable pricing and that hasn't been released).. Thanks!

I'm doing the same thing :-) 30rinks.ca

Looking for the leafs vs pens game Jan 26th. If you've got anything lower bowl let me know

btw @ colin, for games that I haven't had luck getting STHs I've just asked a few people in my section and I've always had them give me their ticket for free (and refuse a beer / $5 for it)

Anyone know how tickets are going to work. Are they going to overnight us new ones or use the existing tickets they mailed us earlier?

You'll be mailed a new book of tickets. Do not use any tickets out of the old book.

Wait list is 9000+ long. To put that into prospective, they only lost 45 season ticket holders this past summer + lockout. 16,000 season ticket holders in total.

I know the Hawks are using their already mailed out in September tickets. They will be mailing labels to put over those tickets.

I am glad to hear that we will be getting brand new tickets. Where did you hear that Harv???

I'm not Harv but I have the answer.

I got two emails from the Pens today. One was going over invoices/balances and the other was about the actual tickets. This is part of the ticket email....

Quote:
· Due to the changes in the Pittsburgh Penguins 2012-13 home schedule, it was necessary to reprint ALL regular season tickets. As a result, the regular season tickets in the keepsake photo books are no longer valid. Replacement tickets for the first four (4) home games will be mailed shortly. The remainder of your tickets will be sent at a later date. We apologize for this inconvenience.

· THE 2013 PLAYOFF TICKETS AND COUPONS INCLUDED IN YOUR SEASON TICKET BOOK ARE GOOD. We encourage you to keep these in a safe place until needed!

Thanks so much!! I just checked my emails, thanks to your post. I did get that email. I have Pen's emails sent to a separate folder, but I often forget to look at it, lol. Oh brother.

I appreciate it!

I REALLY dislike how they continued to revise the 2012-13 invoice during the lockout.

I don't know which games yet, so watch here, or I'll try and PM.

But I'll surely have some games. My kids are 8 and 6, weeknight games are rough. My wife is a nurse, so she works every other weekend typically.

So there will certainly be games I'm moving, but won't know for certain til about a week or 2 prior.

Tickets

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post about tickets but I didn't see anywhere else to post about them. Usually if there is it's stickyed up top.

Taking a friend to her first Pens game (I'm a Cats fan) for the game on Feb. 22 in Pitt (We are from Erie). Besides stubhub where are some places to find tickets and she said something about student discount night, any info would be appreciated. Good luck this year.

In one of the emails from the Pens that came yesterday....

Quote:
· Ticket reselling, forwarding, and reprinting through Account Manager will be enabled prior to the first game – date TBD. Details regarding the new NHL Ticket Exchange powered by TicketsNow will be sent in a separate communication.
