Just have to qualify for the playoffs. Chicago and LA weren't much of a reward for finishing 1st overall. Without Kesler for January and part of February is going to hurt. Hopefully, the team stays focussed if a Lu deal isn't completed early in the season.

Also hope that a couple of young players develop like Kassian, Tanev, Schroeder, KConn, or whomever. Need to start seeing what Gillis' draft picks can do. Time for them to make the next level.
Kinda seems like a good season to maybe have two outstanding goalies? Maybe? Maybe?

In the regular season yes, but in the playoffs, one of the $4 million or $5.333 million cap goalies is going to be on the bench.

Ideally like to see that converted to a Forward or Dman for those games. Not sure if that stretch of games is before or after the trade deadline.

If it's before, then it wouldn't hurt to keep Lu for that time, but really don't want to go into the playoffs with both of them on the roster.

34 out of 48 IIRC. They have a big majority either way you put it, which is expected.

I'm curious how many in that specialty channel. Probably none considering NFL is over?

If the above about 34 of 48 being on Sportsnet Pacific is correct, and I'm counting 8 CBCs and 6 TSNs, then I think we are covered without Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey. That would be awesome.

EDIT:
http://www.sportsnet.ca/pressroom/20...cast_schedule/

This confirms the awesomeness. 34 games on SPAC, 8 on CBC, 6 on TSN. No word on how many Sportsnet games are HD, but I assume all CBC and TSN games will be.

FURTHER EDIT:
http://canucks.nhl.com/club/news.htm...broadcastsched

This confirms that all of our games will be broadcast in HD. Life is good.

Oh, i totally agree. Just trying to see the positive of the tandem possibly continuing. If the Sedins can turn it up a notch in the playoffs, that would also help.

It's great that there won't be any games on SN Vancouver this season. The big downer is only one of Sat. games in LA is on HNIC. The other is on Sportsnet, both should be on HNIC since it is the Stanley Cup Champs.
