So i click on this thread out of curiosity about how well Trottier, Potvin and Smith were doing in the voting. They're yet to be mentioned!

Shame on Isles fans, shame on my fellow oldtimers who witnessed every minute of the domination firsthand. They may not deserve to win this but they sure as hell deserve mention.

If I had to break down a list of my own top 10 forwards, defensemen, and goalies, I'd have Beliveau at #5, Harvey at #2, and Plante at #2 or #3.

I don't see a better combo on the board, to be honest.

Nope, and considering they were all in their primes for years together it should be an easy win over anyone but the 50s Detroit trio.

habs votes seem to be getting split.
I'm on board with lafleur-robinson-dryden. I think if you look at the respective era's they are more impressive than their 50's counterparts.

now that you mention it it is a bit strange that they aren't even an option in the poll
